Ashjar D1, Ashjar, Al Barari
Some homes just have a certain way of slowing you down right as you walk in. I think this three bedroom apartment in Ashjar at Al Barari does exactly that. When I first walked through the door I almost forgot the whole point of my visit and just wanted to look out at all the green outside. Honestly there is something about the way the light filters through the trees here that makes it feel quieter than the rest of Dubai almost like the city drifts away for a bit.
The apartment itself sits at three thousand four hundred and twenty seven square feet which sounds like a lot on paper and really is when you see how the rooms just seem to open up in front of you. The living and dining space is the sort of spot where you could have everyone over for dinner but it would still feel relaxed. You get these wide glass doors that pull you toward the private balcony and the views from there are all leafy branches and open sky. I stood there for a few minutes and it honestly just felt easy even with the soft city noises drifting from way off. Morning coffee out there would probably reset your whole day and in the evenings you get this soft breeze you almost forget your phone and get caught up watching the sunset touch the treetops.
Stepping into the kitchen you can tell it was built for someone who actually loves cooking. Everything is German designed so the cabinets just feel nice to open and close and the Gaggenau appliances look sharp but are clearly made to be used. There is a walk in pantry too which I think makes a big difference and a wine fridge tucked away so late night catch ups or a weekend brunch are always possible. The smart home automation kind of blends in rather than shouting look at me. You simply tap a panel and you have music light whatever you want. It feels practical not like a futuristic video game.
Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bathroom and you feel that extra bit of space around you. The rooms are bright but never too stark. The main bedroom has one of those big windows that looks out over the gardens. I even sat on the edge of the bed just to see how the morning light would feel and it is gentle almost calming. There is also a proper space for a maid which is helpful especially if you like everything in its place or simply need a bit of help around the home.
What stands out to me about Ashjar in Al Barari is the way everything is woven into the landscape. Sometimes you see kids biking or families out for a stroll in the evenings. The walking trails wind through the trees and the scent of the gardens catches you now and then. There is a real sense of community here. Seventh Heaven gives you access to a shared swimming pool that actually feels inviting not just something to walk past on the way in. The kids' play area gets used not just advertised and you see friendly faces at the small retail outlets nearby. Coffee shops are close enough you can just wander over in your sandals. Security is always around but you never feel watched more just quietly looked after.
It can be hard to find a place in Dubai that gives you both privacy and space but this apartment really does. Everything has been upgraded with European finishes so nothing feels cheap or temporary. Yet it is not fancy in a way that makes you worry about touching things. It just feels ready for someone to actually live in it.
The best way to see if it is right for you is to come take a look for yourself. Photos never really show how the afternoon feels on that balcony or how peaceful those bedrooms are. If you ever want to walk through or ask about what it is like day to day just get in touch anytime. At LuxuryProperty.com we want you to feel at home from the start.
