2 Bedroom Apartment for Sale at Mon Reve, Downtown Dubai

Sometimes you get this feeling right at the door and this two bedroom apartment at Mon Reve in Downtown Dubai is one of those places. I stepped in and just wanted to linger for a minute or two because the layout feels wider than you expect and the light just sort of spills in thanks to all those windows. Every room just catches something different from the city outside and it does make you stop and look out for a second even when you try not to. The way the living and dining space soaks up sunlight especially in the late morning makes things feel a little slower and a lot more relaxed. You can picture yourself taking your time on a weekend morning. If you cook or even if you say you do sometimes honestly the kitchen is one of those you will want to try out for real. Nothing fussy but well put together and open so you can talk to whoever is sitting nearby. The appliances are all built in and there is more storage than you first notice every cupboard tucks away something useful. 

Both bedrooms in this apartment have their own bathrooms attached which always feels easier especially if you like a bit of space at the start and end of your day. The built in wardrobes are roomier than you think. You will see right away they did not hold back on bathroom finishes either so it all feels fresh but not overdone. I noticed you can actually hear a bit of the city humming outside in the evenings but it is just enough to remind you where you are without it getting in the way. What is pretty handy here is the extra room which they call a maids room but honestly could be anything you need. Home office or a spot for guests or even just a place to stash suitcases and everything else you do not want on show. The whole place is finished in soft colours and simple details so whatever your style is it will not take much to put your stamp on it. 

Mon Reve has a good feel to it as a building too. There is a concierge on hand all day and all night which takes the stress away if you are waiting for something or have a parcel arriving. Up top there is a rooftop pool and you get a nice bit of sun there most of the day. It is not overly busy either. The fitness centre gets enough light that even early mornings do not feel gloomy and it has all the equipment you would need unless you are a serious gym buff. Parking is sorted. Your space is allocated and easy to get to so forget about endless loops around the block. 

The best thing here honestly is where you are in Downtown Dubai. When I walked out for a bit the Dubai Mall really was just a quick stroll down the road and you are almost under the Burj Khalifa before you know it but far enough away not to get the tourist crush all the time. It feels like you get the city energy without having it rush right past your door. In the mornings you see people heading out for coffee to the little shops tucked up and down the Boulevard and there is always somewhere close for a bite if you do not feel like cooking. 

Sometimes there are kids biking out front in the early evenings and you get families just wandering back from shopping. It is one of those locations that is alive but not exhausting.
