Paramount Tower Hotel & Residences, Business Bay
Some places just make you stop for a second when you walk in. This two bedroom apartment at Paramount Tower Hotel & Residences in Business Bay kind of does that. It is set pretty high up so when the elevator doors opened, and I walked in, the first thing I did was look out at the city. The canal is sort of always in view and it is the kind of backdrop that feels both calming and very alive at the same time. You do get a sense of Dubai right outside your window. And really, this location does make everything simple. Sheikh Zayed Road is round the corner and you are deep in the middle of Business Bay, so days just have that downtown feeling. There is plenty of bustle around if you want it, but the apartment itself is quiet enough that you can come home and breathe a bit.
Inside, honestly, the layout just feels easy. There is an open plan kitchen and living space so if you like cooking or have friends over for meals, you are not cut off from the rest of the apartment. I really like that because it keeps things social. Sometimes show apartments look nice but not really usable but here the kitchen actually made me think of someone making coffee on a Saturday morning with music on in the background. The finishes are modern, but nothing feels showy or cold. Rooms have enough space that you do not feel boxed in at all even when both bedrooms are full. A lot of folks ask me if natural light is any good in these places and I can honestly say in here, sunlight finds its way in for most of the day, just warming up the living area and making it feel even more open.
Stepping out to the balcony, I just stood there for a bit and watched the water. You can see boats sometimes and in the evenings, the city lights pick up. It is one of those spots where you forget you have your phone in your hand. Bedrooms are quiet, especially because you are up high and get less street noise. You wake up and see that skyline or the canal and mornings feel just a little bit better. Bathrooms feel sleek and clean. Nothing over the top, just quite practical which I think matters most of the time.
The building is really something of its own. Every time I visit Paramount Tower residences it always feels like they got that balance of hotel living and home just right. The infinity pool has got that whole view thing going and I have seen people lounging there, reading or just floating and letting the city pass by underneath. There is a proper shared gym and even a spa if you like to unwind without going far. If you have little ones, there is a play area which is actually used a fair bit by residents' kids so it has some life to it too. The concierge team always looks sharp and honestly, just makes daily stuff easier, from packages to parking or even a quick chat at the front desk. And guests do get valet service which comes in handy more often than you would think.
Parking is simple and always available, which is not a given in this part of town. Living here you are honestly close to almost anything. You could walk down to get coffee in the morning and you always see people from different walks of life just living their day. Evenings bring out more people with families walking and sometimes you see a few cyclists by the water.
The best way to see if this apartment fits is to walk through it for yourself. You will know in a few minutes if it feels right in person. If you have any questions or feel like seeing it up close, just get in touch any time. We try to make moving to a new home in Dubai feel as relaxed as it should be.
