Azizi Riviera Azure, Meydan One, Meydan
Some places just give you a clear breath right when you walk in. This two bedroom apartment in Azizi Riviera Azure at Meydan One feels like that. The minute I stepped inside, I caught myself just standing there, looking out at that corner canal view. There's this big rush of blue outside the windows with the gentle movement of water and honestly, you almost forget you're just in the middle of Dubai. There's a calm about it.
You get a sense the owners actually designed it to be lived in properly. The open kitchen is not just for heating up takeaway – you could actually make dinner here with kids chatting at the counter or friends popping open something fizzy while you stir at the stove. The cabinets close softly and there's this smooth run between the cooking area and the living room which is great when you've got people round but honestly just as good when you're by yourself. There's this sort of quiet privacy to the mid floor spot, but you still feel connected because you can see the city spread out beyond the water.
Both bedrooms feel about right. Not huge just for show but actually comfortable for sleeping in, with built in wardrobes you can really use and windows that open onto those canal views again. You know the feeling where you wake up and just linger for an extra five minutes looking at the light? It's that sort of place. Bathrooms are modern and clean with just enough space to move around and get ready without bumping elbows with anyone. You'll also like that there is a private balcony where you can hold your morning coffee or catch the last bits of daylight as the sun goes behind the skyline. People really do use their balconies in this building.
Outside the apartment there are some nice extras. The pool looks out on the water so you're not just swimming among buildings – you actually get a view. It is the kind of place you want to go down early on a weekend morning before it gets busy or at night when it cools off. The BBQ area is real, not just a couple of picnic benches. It is somewhere you would actually bring friends, have a proper grill and not worry about cleaning up in your kitchen. There are tennis courts tucked along the side which you might notice gets used more around sunset when it is cooler out. Sometimes you see people just watching the game and chatting and it feels a bit like a real neighborhood.
Covered parking means you never have to roast your car in the Dubai sun which is honestly such a relief. Concierge is always around, not stiff or formal, just someone to help with deliveries or point your guests in the right direction. Downstairs you notice other little conveniences too. There's public parking when you have visitors, a mosque for prayers if you need, a nursery where you catch little footsteps in the mornings, and a proper public park across the street. Even if you do not use all of them, it is nice they are so close. You'll spot people heading out on evening walks, sometimes picking up a coffee or pastry from the little shops around. Life feels quite easy here.
The area itself is different from a lot of Dubai. Meydan One is lively but not loud. It started off known for the races but now it's this place where everything from shopping to dining to just plain walking around is right at hand. You can drive out fast onto the main roads and get nearly everywhere with no stress. There's a blend of city energy and something quieter by the water and people really seem to look after their spaces here.
The only way you'll really know if it suits you is by stepping inside and feeling this space. If you want to ask some questions or wander through it for yourself just let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com, we'll always try to make moving in Dubai a bit gentler and a lot less complicated.
