Some apartments make you want to just take a breath and pause for a second. That is pretty much how it felt when I first walked into this furnished one bedroom spot in The first collection waterfront tower in Business Bay. You step in and there is this nice little sense of calm which honestly surprised me a bit, considering you are right in the middle of one of Dubai's busiest areas. But once you close the door, the city noise just sort of fades out and you get your own private space to unwind.
The living room is where I ended up spending most of my time during my last visit. There is plenty of natural light and the couch actually feels comfy enough that you could easily fall asleep on it without meaning to. Sitting by the window, you get views of Business Bay and the city buzzing below. It is not that high up but you still get that feeling of being above it all. Sometimes I noticed a few birds perching on the neighboring rooftops if you look long enough. Even just having a morning coffee here feels a bit special because the city never really sleeps outside but you get this calm little corner all to yourself. And everything is set up so you do not have to do too much. The place is fully furnished so you do not need to worry about shopping for chairs or tables or any of those little extra things people sometimes forget about.
The kitchen got me thinking that you might actually want to cook here instead of just ordering food every night. It is tucked in a way that feels connected to the living and dining, so you can chat with whoever is lounging while you fix up a quick breakfast or try cooking something a bit more adventurous on the weekend. The fridge and oven are both new enough that you are not going to have any problems, which is always a relief. Plus, there is just enough storage, not too much that you will lose things and not so little that you are forced to make tough decisions on every spatula. You know what I mean.
What I liked about the bedroom is that it did not try too hard. Big window lets in that Dubai sunlight in the day and you can totally control the lighting at night so you do not feel like you are sleeping in an office. There is decent storage for clothes and the bed actually feels solid. Sometimes in high rise apartments you get these wobbly beds that make you nervous. Here it just feels easy. The bathroom is clean and functional, so nothing fancy but you will not be wishing for more. Hot water comes on quickly. There is room for all your daily things and even a spot for those silly little candles people light for baths.
Location is probably what makes this place stand out. Right in Business Bay means you never need to go far for just about anything. Grocery store is downstairs. Coffee shop within minutes. Metro is close if you ever actually use public transport. Most days though people just walk to the canal and you see folks jogging or just spending time outside in the evenings. It has a real neighborhood feel even though the buildings are modern. Sometimes you notice families getting ice cream after dinner and it all just feels like the city is close but not crowding you.
The place is vacant right now so you do not have to wait around for it to be ready. What you see is what you get. At one million five hundred thousand it seems pretty fair for this area and the way the apartment feels in person. But the only way to really know if it works for you is just to come and take a look for yourself. If you have any questions or want to see it in person, just let me know. We know moving is a big deal at LuxuryProperty dot com and we just want to help you feel comfortable about your next step.
