Emaar South is located on the outskirts of Dubai. The master planned community provides easy access to important landmarks in the city; such as, Sheikh Zayez Road, Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai Investment Park, and the Abu Dhabi highway, where the Dubai Expo 2020 is scheduled to take place. So, despite being on the fringes, Emaar South is extremely well connected with the rest of Dubai.
Covering roughly 54,000 sq. m., the suburb offers 15,360 apartment units, 22,700 residential units, an 18-hole Golf Championship Course, and more than 25 parks for families to enjoy the scenic outdoors. Emaar South consists of Expo Golf Villas, Urbana, Golf Views, Golf Links and Saffron. With the exception of Emaar South Villas, which is fully developed, all other sub-communities are undergoing rapid development.

In spite of not being completely developed, Emaar South has all the amenities that one would come to expect from an upscale community. Popular supermarket, Zoom is at a distance of 5 minutes via car, while other supermarkets; Al Nadir and Sultan Hypermarket are also close by. Many other mini marts and pharmacy stores are nearing completion, which would mean that residents could soon walk their way to the marts to buy goods.
As a master planned community, Emaar South has numerous places of worship for its residents. Mosques, Churches, and Temples are all in close proximity. However, at this point, you have to use a car to get there.
In terms of education, some of the leading institutes are nearby to Emaar South. Starting all the way from foundation years, British Oak Montessori Nursery, Chubby Cheeks Nursery and Emirates British nursery are all excellent choices for your child to take first steps in their education journey. As far as schools are concerned, The Gems International School is at a 24-minutes’ drive, and is highly rated by the KHDA. Then you have Greenfield Community School close by, which is renowned for its kinesthetic approach to education.
For higher education, Synergy University Dubai, a Russian varsity, is at a drive of 29 minutes. What’s unique about this university is that it’s extremely affordable and is rated highly by the KHDA. Since the area is still under development, healthcare facilities are a little far. Al Maktoum Ariport Clinic for instance is at a drive of 17 minutes, and is fully capable of handling the majority of medical emergencies. Located in DIP, the NMC Royal Hospital is reachable in 20 minutes and is renowned for managing fertility and birth related cases. Also close by is Mediclinic Meadows that is well equipped to treat general OPD and emergencies.
Emaar South has a collection of high class eateries all along the strip. What’s even better is the variety of cuisines to satiate everyone’s appetite. Ibn Battuta mall has by far the largest collection of restaurants and cafes. In terms of connectivity, Emaar South is well connected with Dubai due to its multiple entry and exit points. The neighborhood is 11 minutes away from Emirates Road, 5 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport and just 15 minutes from Sheikh Zayed Road.
Communities nearby that are reachable in 30 minutes include Dubai Investment Park, Jebel Ali Industrial Area and Dubai Parks and Resorts. An honorable mention goes out to Bollywood Parks, a Bollywood inspired theme park featuring rides, shows, and eateries for fans of Indian cinema. The theme park can be reached in under 20 minutes.
