Some places just have this calm when you open the door. That is really what I felt with this bright one bedroom apartment at Rosemary House in The Green Quarter of Ealing. Maybe it is the way the light spills in through those really tall windows or maybe it is how the hallway does not feel tight and you do not even notice yourself moving from room to room. The people in the building come and go but honestly everyone I met just seemed relaxed. Maybe it is the whole area because the Green Quarter wraps around these four and a half acres of proper parkland. Sometimes you see kids on scooters or people walking their dogs in the evening. The trees along the paths are almost like a secret in this part of London and the water features give it just this extra bit of calm. You are not far from the train and the coffee shops are scattered in easy reach so commuting or weekends both feel simple.
