Some homes just have this feeling like you are stepping right into something special. That is exactly what happened when I walked into this estate on North Venetian Way in Miami. You take in the wide open spaces and all that sunlight pouring in and for a second you just stand still because it does not feel like a place meant for rushing around. It is the kind of home where you want to put your phone away and really look at your surroundings. I think it is the natural light that first gets you. Here at the very tip of San Marco Island, the sun just washes over everything. You have water on all sides and even the birds seem to move a little slower here. I spent some time by the window and just watched the boats moving along the bay. From every spot in this house, honestly, you get something different. Look to the west and you see the Downtown Miami skyline, and those sunsets are unreal. If you are up early, the mornings look out over Edgewater, and to the south you spot cruise ships gliding past. Sometimes you almost forget you are right in the city.
The main living room here is something you remember. All these wide plank wood floors stretch out under your feet, and you cannot help but notice the marble. Baltic Grey Marble mixes with Carrara marble in these diamond patterns that catch the morning light. Sometimes when the sun starts to set the whole room glows a little. The open kitchen is not just for show either. It is the kind of kitchen where you can actually see yourself making coffee or cooking something big for friends. There is enough room so nobody gets in anyone else's way, but it all flows so easily that you can chat from the stove right to someone on the patio.
About the staircase—honestly I was a little floored by it. It kind of has this Guggenheim Museum twist, swirling right up and turning into a piece of art all on its own. If you invite friends over, I guarantee someone will say something about it. There is just so much to talk about. The space feels artistic but never cold. There is a real Scandinavian feeling in the design with calm tones and nothing ever shouting for attention. In the afternoons you can slide open the doors and let in the bay breeze and sometimes you just listen for the water lapping outside.
Now upstairs, the main suite might become your new favorite place. You wake up and the first thing you see is water all around. The bedroom has a fireplace that kind of glows through into your gym space so you might even feel like working out for once. There is also a full spa in there plus a steam room, sauna, and a waterfall jacuzzi that just takes the stress right out of your shoulders. I liked the meditation room especially—you would be surprised how quietly the world moves from up there.
The property has four bedrooms in all so there is space if you have family or just like guests dropping in from out of town. It is unfurnished which means you get to put your own touch on everything. The total built up area is 8,632 square feet so honestly nothing ever feels cramped. There is even more room if you step outside. Maybe one of the nicest things about being here is the sense you are close to everything Miami has to offer—yet it feels quiet and private at home. The beach is never far away. Sometimes you see neighbors out for evening walks when the air cools off and most days all you hear is water and birds.
The photos are one thing but you really need to stand here and see how it feels. If you want to wander around or just ask a few questions, reach out whenever. At LuxuryProperty dot com, we always think your next move should feel easy and real. I am happy to show you what makes this place special.
