Some places feel a little different when you walk in and this one bedroom apartment in Emaar Beachfront pretty much does that straight away. The light comes in softly through these big windows and honestly, it just makes everything feel easy. You get this calm you do not always get in Dubai or really anywhere close to the Marina. I found myself standing by the balcony doors for a while, just looking out at the blue water and all the boats. You get the real Marina skyline view from up here and the Palm Jumeirah is right in sight too. Sometimes you even see the sun reflecting right off the buildings across the water and it is almost too bright to look at but you end up staring anyway.

Emaar Beachfront itself is still kind of new in Dubai but people already seem to know it is one of those places meant for the sea life. You feel that a bit as you walk the lobby and it definitely stays with you when you see the pool and the gardens your apartment looks right out over them so you do not miss anything. I have seen people heading out with their towels and coffees in the morning sometimes not even checking their phones just heading right to the pool. There is a gym on site and I have peeked in more than once. It is actually the sort of gym you might go to regularly which I cannot say for everywhere.

The apartment feels lived in but not worn out. It comes fully furnished and everything matches up in a way that feels both modern and kind of cozy. You get a big king sized bed in the master and it feels solid. Sometimes you see apartments that look good in pictures but feel strange in person and this is not that. The kitchen might surprise you too it is proper with good worktop space and a pantry not only for storing snacks but you could actually cook in here if you felt like doing more than reheating. All the white goods you need are in place already so you really just need to turn the key.

The balcony is where everyone ends up. It is big enough to pull a chair outside and just sit for a while. In the morning you can actually hear birds when the city is still quiet. Sometimes you get people taking walks down near the water or neighbours nodding hello with a coffee in hand. The evenings are nice too with the city lights coming up and the air just right for being outside. If you work from home or you need a quiet spot to read or think this place gives you that. Honestly sometimes you might forget you are in one of the busiest cities in the world.

Location wise Emaar Beachfront gives you the best of both Dubai Marina and the whole JBR scene without the crowds at your door. You can step out and grab a bite at one of the new cafes nearby or pick up your coffee on the way to work. If you have friends visiting the beach is never more than a few minutes away down the elevator and outside. There is always something happening in the Harbour area but it never really gets noisy up here in Sunrise Bay.
