Some villas just make you slow down a little the second you step up to them. That is exactly what happened when I walked into this six bedroom home in Hillside at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Right away, there is this sense of space and calm, kind of rare in Dubai honestly. The glass all along the front brings in the sunlight just right. You can see it streaming across the floors and sort of shifting through the rooms as you wander around.

So here is what stands out to me. The outside has this sharp geometric style. Modern, clean lines. Inside there is that big double living area which is really meant for gatherings. It is open but still cosy. I found myself just sort of imagining where the family photos or maybe some books might go. You get a dining area that does not feel formal unless you want it to. There is this partly closed family room nearby too and a proper show kitchen. I like that there is another kitchen tucked out of sight where real cooking can happen. Makes entertaining or big family meals super easy because the main kitchen stays spotless but you can still chat with people while chopping or stirring.

Sliding out to the pool was one of my favorite moments. There is a deck for sun or an evening drink. Then a partly shaded lounge where you can just stretch out. It is the kind of outdoor space where you forget about emails and might just watch clouds or even doze off. The sunken seating has a great view of the golf course and actually feels pretty private. You can hear a soft breeze and sometimes, if you are quiet, distant sounds from the course or just birds. Plus there is space to eat outside. The kids would probably fight over who gets to jump in first and honestly it just feels easy to see yourself there on the weekends.

Upstairs every bedroom has its own bathroom and a private terrace. I stood out on one for a while just looking at the green fairways and honestly you do not hear the city here. It gets peaceful fast. The family room up here has its own bit of outdoor space so you can spread out if everyone is home at once. Sunsets are pretty good from the terraces and sometimes you catch a bit of that golden hour light through the windows.

The penthouse level is really something else. There is a master suite that is huge with a walk in closet that makes it easy to stay organized. Three terraces on this floor so you always have a spot for morning coffee or reading. And a lounge that just feels like a quiet retreat away from the rest of the house. It does not feel over the top just relaxed and well planned.

Down in the basement you have space for five cars which is more than most villas you will find in Dubai. There is extra space down here for games or maybe a cinema room or really just storage if you want to keep things clear upstairs.

You will notice the finishes are just quality all over. Travertine stone cool under your feet. Marble is everywhere it should be and the timber bits give a bit of warmth. Quartz touches the kitchen surfaces and it never feels cold or too modern. You will not have to fuss much with controls since it has proper smart home features to adjust lights or climate. It makes life feel a bit simpler.

Living in Jumeirah Golf Estates means you get two championship courses close by. On Sundays you see neighbors heading out for a round or just walking with their kids. The Clubhouse is actually world class. A gym that never feels too busy plus a great pool steam room and tennis courts. Sometimes you just stop by the café even if you are not heading out to play. There are kids running along the paths after school most evenings and always a familiar face or two.
