Some places just have a certain calm as soon as you walk in. This three bedroom villa over in Sidra at Dubai Hills Estate does that for me every single time. You step off the quiet street and suddenly it almost feels like you have entered your own little bit of greenery and sunlight. There is this sense of space that you cannot ignore and the air really does smell fresher than most places in Dubai.
The hall just opens right up as you walk in and if you are like me you might just pause and get distracted looking through those big glass doors straight to the garden. The way the light falls across the living room floor in the afternoon always catches my eye. Sometimes you can even hear some birds outside especially early in the morning when things are peaceful. There is just greenery everywhere right outside and honestly you can tell the guys who planned Dubai Hills Estate really wanted people to live easy here.
The kitchen actually feels like a space you would want to cook in for real. It is open to the living area so you will never really feel tucked away from everyone else. You can get the groceries in and leave them right by the big island or set up your breakfast tray where you can see outside to the garden. The layout just seems to work if you have people around. You can see yourself chatting with friends over coffee while someone else puts the finishing touches on dinner and of course if you want to chase after kids or make space for pets there is plenty of room to do that here.
Upstairs the bedrooms just give off that kind of comfort that makes you want to throw your bag down and lie on the bed. Big windows again with all this greenery outside makes the whole place feel softer. The main bedroom has a little balcony where you can sit out with a tea in the evening which is lovely when sunset hits over the trees and you catch a bit of the golf course view. You get built in wardrobes in all the bedrooms by the way so storage works out just fine you will not be short of space.
The bathrooms are clean bright and actually have room to move around rather than squeezing yourself in. You might even enjoy a slow start some mornings because it just feels that bit more relaxed than most new villas. I looked out from one of the upstairs windows last week and someone was learning to ride a bike down below. That kind of sums up this part of Sidra to me because there is always a gentle buzz in the community but never really any rush.
You are right beside Dubai Hills Park and can walk or jog whenever you feel like it. Some mornings there are people doing yoga outside. The Mall is close too if you want a quick coffee or if you just forgot to buy something for dinner. You can drop kids at school without a long drive plus if you ever play tennis or golf the courts and course are literally just a stroll away. Fitness centers and pools are part of everyday life here. It all feels natural rather than forced and on weekends you will notice families walking and talking together or riding bikes. It is just that kind of place.
Honestly this villa just feels easy to live in. It could work as a main family home or you might just see it as a Dubai base for breaks and long weekends. Sometimes you find yourself slowing down here and forgetting about your phone for a while. The only way you will really know if it feels right for you is to come see the place for yourself.
