Some places just make life easier as soon as you walk in and honestly that is the first thing that strikes you about this one bedroom apartment in The Palm Tower at Palm Jumeirah. There are homes that sit right in the middle of everything and this is one of those. I actually found myself wandering around Nakheel Mall not long ago without any kind of plan because you just have that direct access. It all feels so natural. Maybe you grab a coffee from one of those little places and pick up something from Waitrose for dinner later. The temptation to pause for a movie at the VOX cinema is always there and if you are ever in the mood for a treat those places like Din Tai Fung or Shake Shack or even just a pastry from Laduree are seriously close. If you like shopping for clothes you start to recognize the shop windows from DKNY all the way to H and M and Marks and Spencer. It is hard to get lost because you are always near home.

Living here in Palm Jumeirah really means you are almost never far from anything. You will see the city wakes up from the infinity pool and honestly those views are something else. I stood at the edge for a moment and for a second forgot about my phone in my pocket. The sky and the water kind of blur together up there. It is the sort of view that gets under your skin a bit. At the same time you have SUSHISAMBA just there which feels a bit surreal if you think about it.

When it comes down to the actual apartment you can drop your bags and feel settled straight away. The place is fully furnished and it never feels too showy. The living space has this comfortable feel to it like the furniture might actually invite you to sit for a minute. Sunlight finds its way in during the morning and you notice that the tiles stay cool underfoot for most of the day. The kitchen is not just for show either. There is room to really cook if that is your thing and you can look out while you do. I imagined coffee in the mornings beside the window and it just fits. Everything feels like it has a place but nothing interrupts you. Plenty of storage and quiet enough at night that you hear yourself think.

Residents get all the perks of the St Regis facilities as well which is a big thing if you like keeping active. There is a gym you can actually use and a beach club that feels like a proper escape. Sometimes you even see people taking their breakfast out on the sand. And if you do get a bit restless there is Club Vista Mare or The Pointe nearby where it is easy to lose an hour or two just walking or meeting up with friends for a bite. The way people move around here you can almost forget you are in Dubai. You will also run into families with kids biking in the evenings which kind of grounds the place in real neighbourhood energy.

Palm Jumeirah has always felt like its own little world to me and The Palm Tower gives you all of that in one single place. This one bedroom apartment would suit anyone wanting comfort but also wanting to be where things are happening.
