That happened to me with this three bedroom apartment in Serenia Residences at The Palm, right here on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. The quiet just hits you first. There is a peaceful feeling when you step out onto the terrace and all you can hear is a bit of breeze and the occasional seagull. Honestly, after a long drive along the Crescent, opening the front door here just feels like you have your own patch of calm away from the rest of Dubai.

You get a sense of space straight off. The apartment stretches out over fifty five hundred square feet which means you can have family staying over and still bump into each other only when you feel like it. The living and dining areas run together so you end up with sunlight bouncing around from the floor to ceiling windows. When I was there I just watched the clouds drift above the Dubai Marina skyline for a while. You can see the water, the skyline and a bit of The Palm all from the same spot. Sometimes you even catch boats going by in the distance and it makes you wonder what everyone else is up to.

The kitchen actually looks and feels usable. None of that showpiece stuff. I tried the drawers myself and they are soft close, proper storage for real cooking and you have those clean marble countertops that make you want to try something new for dinner. The Miele appliances are built in but they do not dominate the space so you still get a homely feel. There is plenty of room if you like hosting friends and nobody ever feels squashed, even if someone brings extra dessert.

That sun drenched terrace though really gets you. It is wide enough for a big table or some loungers. There is this feeling of really being outside but still private. I can see mornings with fresh coffee here or evenings just listening to the city lights far off and the hush of the seaside. Sometimes the neighbor kids are on their bikes right along the beach pathway so the atmosphere never feels too formal.

Serenia Residences comes with its own set of perks. Downstairs you have access to an infinity pool and not just a small one but a proper spot to swim laps if you want. There are lovely gardens around the property with walking paths and even quiet corners if you want to read or just think. Barbecue areas and little fire pits line the edges close to the sand so weekends can be as social or low key as you want. The gym is all glass which means you can work out but still watch the water the whole time. Plus tennis courts and a running track circle the place for the days when you feel more energetic.

Security is always around but they keep things discreet so you never feel watched. Concierge service is friendly not stiff and parking is easy even when friends visit.

Living right between Waldorf Astoria and Anantara means good coffee or a nice meal is always a short stroll away. Some mornings you can see hotel guests mixing with residents and life just goes by slowly here compared to the city.
