Some homes just have a way of making you pause right from the entry. This three bedroom apartment in Hercules Tower at Living Legends felt like that for me. I stepped inside and found myself wandering straight to the big terrace doors, mostly because the view just pulls you in before you even realize it. You look out and there's this wide stretch of green from the golf course that feels peaceful in a way you kind of forget living in Dubai. You might even catch some golfers passing by early in the day, and every now and then you hear the sound of a distant swing. It's honestly easy to forget you're so close to the city here.
The apartment is pretty roomy. At one thousand eight hundred twenty three square feet you can tell it was made for families that need real space. The first thing you notice is the light. There are these big windows almost everywhere and sometimes you just stop and watch how the sun moves across the living room floor. The living and dining area is all in one open space, so you can have friends over or just hang out while someone's cooking. And about that kitchen – it's not just for show. There's plenty of counter space for spreading out, and I was picturing someone actually cooking a meal from scratch, not just heating something up in the microwave. It just feels easy.
Each of the three bedrooms offers more than enough room for a big bed and more. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom that keeps things private when guests come over or the kids have friends staying. I stood in one of the other bedrooms for a bit and realized you can see the gardens from there too. Built in wardrobes in every room make a big difference. You don't have to worry about where to put all your extra stuff. The maid's room is set off a bit so it doesn't feel like an afterthought, which makes things comfortable if you have help or just want extra storage.
The terrace really is the heart of this place. I found myself just leaning against the railing, watching the light change over the golf course and honestly thinking about sitting out there in the evening with a book. It's big enough for a couple of chairs, maybe a little table. Sometimes you see people walking their dogs or kids playing nearby when the weather's good, which gives the building this relaxed vibe.
Around the rest of Hercules Tower you'll notice there's quite a bit happening, but nothing ever felt loud or rushed. There's a gym just for residents, and there's another one for ladies too which is nice if you prefer a bit of privacy. The pool is super clean. You'll probably end up swimming more than you expect, especially in the summer when heading to the beach feels like too much effort. Downstairs you find well kept gardens which are nice for a quick stroll or just to clear your head between meetings. Secure basement parking means no circling the block at the end of a long day and you can even arrange an extra spot if needed. That's rare.
The best thing is how conveniently close you are to pretty much everywhere you might need to be. Whether you're heading to Dubai Marina, Downtown, or even the airport, the main roads are close by but you don't feel stuck in traffic noise. You've got Al Barari just over there for Saturday brunch or a fancy meal, and there's a feeling of community here that's quite different from the more crowded parts of the city.
This apartment works for families wanting a calmer place to come home to, or even if you're thinking of it as an investment. You're close to Expo City and places like Dubai Mall but when you're at home you honestly wouldn't know it. Plus, Living Legends is one of those communities where you still get the feeling of a neighborhood. Kids ride their bikes in the evenings. The coffee shop is never far and you get to know people at the pool or at the weekend market.
