2 bedroom apartment in Collective 2.0

Some homes just make you stop for a second when you step inside. This two bedroom apartment at Collective 2.0 in Dubai Hills Estate did that for me right away. Maybe it sounds odd but you notice the light first. It kind of pours into the living room and you can see all the way out to the Downtown Dubai skyline. I actually stood there for a bit just taking it in because it feels open and private at the same time. Out there are all the city towers but somehow your window keeps it all feeling calm and almost like your own space above the world. I tried to imagine what it would be like living here and you know what—sometimes I think you would just pause and look outside instead of staring at your phone. 

Walking in, the first thing you get is how easy and welcoming it feels. The living space and the dining area are joined so nicely together so you would never bump into any weird odd shaped corners. Sometimes new apartments try to save on space but these bedrooms can fit proper furniture. You might set up a reading chair by the window or maybe a desk to work from home.

The fact that this is a corner unit makes a big difference too. With these extra windows you get a little more privacy and even quiet. If you like friendly neighbors they're nearby but if you want a slow morning with just your coffee and the birds outside you can have that too. I always say some parts of Dubai try so hard to be exclusive but here it feels easy. There is a comfortable and laid back feeling all around. Kids bike around in the evenings families stroll along the tree lined paths and there always seems to be a coffee shop not too far away. Dubai Hills Estate is a real community. When you walk out of Collective 2.0 you will see how clean and tidy everything is. There is so much green outside I find it almost surprising considering the city. The parks are always well kept and have that fresh look even in the summer sunshine.

You get practical things too because the shopping mall is close just a quick drive but not noisy. Whether you work in Downtown Dubai or somewhere else the roads actually make it easy to get around no long drives or awkward connections. The community is known for its wide open spaces and those shaded corners where you can just sit and do nothing for a while. Evenings are nice for a low key run or a walk because people here do not seem in a rush. That is something you will notice right away. 

The apartment itself is offered vacant on transfer. That means you get the keys and can move in almost right away or rent it out if you want an investment in Dubai Hills Estate. No delays or extra steps. The place is unfurnished which is a good thing in my opinion because you can bring your own style in or keep it simple for a while and see what grows on you. 

I probably could keep going about the details but honestly you get the best feel by walking through in person. Sometimes those little things—the way the air feels coming through the window or how the light changes at sunset—are what make a home really work for you.
