Sometimes you walk into a place and everything just feels in the right spot. That is pretty much what happened with this studio apartment at Marquise Square Tower in Business Bay. The moment I stepped inside I kind of understood why people say location is everything. You get this feeling of being right in the thick of Dubai but at the same time there is a surprising bit of calm as soon as you close the door. There is something different about the way the light falls in this space maybe it is those huge floor to ceiling windows looking out over the Dubai Water Canal and the city beyond. I actually found myself just standing there for a moment watching city life going by boats on the water small groups out for early morning runs below people heading to work every day is different out there.
Now the studio itself has this super smart layout. Even though it is all one open space it just works well. I noticed the kitchen is set up in such a way that it actually feels like you can cook real meals here not just heat up a coffee and rush out. The Siemens appliances are all built in so there are no awkward edges or cluttered counters. You will see how the stone countertop just invites you to put the kettle on and linger. Lots of storage tucked away as well for someone who likes things tidy but does not want to think about it too much. I poked my head in the bathroom for a bit and honestly you will probably notice pretty quickly that the fittings feel solid and quite classy that is Gessi and Geberit for you so even the simple routines have a bit of style.
But really you cannot help but keep being drawn back to those views. Whether you are getting up early and need that burst of city energy or just winding down at sunset it is just peaceful up here. You can see the Burj Khalifa from certain angles which always gives you a little jolt like Oh yes I really live in Dubai. And then at night when the city lights come on you will probably forget your phone and just watch for a bit.
The tower itself is easy to get used to. The gym is better equipped than most and feels open and fresh not one of those cramped rooms you sometimes find in the city. If swimming is your thing the pool is actually big enough for more than a quick dip and the water always looks clean and inviting. The sauna is a nice touch too after a long week. I have seen kids running around the play area before which makes it all feel friendly and lived in. And downstairs there are some good shops so you do not always have to get in the car just to grab a snack or coffee. Sometimes you get lucky and catch a new little spot opening up and that always keeps things interesting.
Living here puts you in such a handy spot. You are pretty much on the edge of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay so both work and play are close. Walking or cycling along the Canal especially around sunset is something a lot of locals swear by. The Mall is not far if you feel like shopping or catching a movie you are never short on places to eat or meet friends. The boardwalk along the Canal has this relaxed weekend vibe and some nights you just find yourself wandering without any plan. Plus there is always something going on in the area you feel it even just walking around.
This studio apartment at Marquise Square really suits someone who wants city life but also wants to come home to something a bit special. The space is easy the views give you a sense of connection and there is always something new just outside your door. It is hard to sum up in words because you have to feel it yourself. The only way to know if it is right is to come see it. Reach out anytime even if you just want to talk through what living here feels like.
