Sometimes you walk into a space and you just slow down a little. This three bedroom apartment at Serenia Residences on Palm Jumeirah is exactly like that. I remember stepping inside for the first time and just pausing for a second by those big glass windows. The views are huge. You sort of wonder if you even want a TV when you have sunsets over the water and the Atlantis right there in front of you. It feels quiet even though you know there is so much happening not far away.

The main living space is really open and gives you lots of room to stretch out. You can picture friends over for dinner or maybe everyone just hanging out together in the evenings while the balcony doors are open and you get a bit of that salty air. The kitchen is one of those places that makes you almost want to try out new recipes. Everything is fitted out with proper Miele appliances. Even if you are more about delivery than cooking you'll be set. There is an easy feeling to it all which is kind of rare here.

The bedrooms give you their own little space to unwind. If you work from home at all it does not feel like you are squeezed in. There is room to make your own reading spot or even set up a little desk somewhere by the window. Waking up with all that morning light pouring in just feels good. Sometimes you catch a family heading to the pool or friends getting ready for some tennis. The amenities are actually ones you will use. The infinity pool feels like a little escape after work. There is a mini golf course which is fun even if you do not play much. For anyone with kids the play area is a nice touch since you can keep an eye on them while you relax somewhere nearby. There is a BBQ area that gets some use in the cooler months. Sometimes you will bump into someone from the community there and chat for a little. And the beach access is just right there you can wander down for sunset or even to go for a quiet swim before most people are awake.

Location makes everything just a bit easier here. You are on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah so you get plenty of quiet without losing out on anything. Getting to Nakheel Mall or The Pointe is quick when you want coffee or have someone visiting. The roads are easy to jump onto if you are heading off the Palm for work or meeting friends somewhere in the city. Coming back feels like a bit of a retreat actually.
