There is a certain feeling you get as you walk into this two bedroom apartment at Andaz by Hilton on Palm Jumeirah. I actually found myself just wanting to stand for a bit and take it in. It is quiet up here but you can still feel the buzz of the island life below. The light spills in through these full height windows, and honestly, if you glance out for a moment, the view of the Palm and all that blue sea kind of just makes you stop thinking about anything else.
The whole place sits above the beach in this really neat way. You can hear a little bit of the soft city sound but mostly it just feels calm. The kitchen is totally modern, nothing over the top, just makes you actually want to cook if you feel like it. I found it easy to imagine a quiet breakfast by the window or a bigger dinner with friends if you like company. The living area opens up and does not really feel boxed in which I always like. It feels natural, kind of like a hotel but with the privacy of home. And if you like color, you will notice these bright little splashes here and there, nothing wild, just enough to make you smile.
Both bedrooms are their own quiet spots. Each one has an ensuite. Stepping inside, you notice the closets are already done in a way that makes sense for daily life plus a spot for working or reading if you want to have your laptop out. The windows just pull you to them because the views are something you want to check every hour or so. Sometimes you might even see boats going by or the skyline glowing at night.
If you like the idea of a serviced apartment, the Andaz does the job without being in your face. Housekeeping is there when you want to come home to fresh sheets and towels but you can close your door and just have your peace too. And if you need to get some work done or catch up on something, there are meeting rooms and even a studio space for events right in the building. The fitness area is actually a spot you want to use. I know sometimes gyms in buildings can feel a bit forgotten but this one smells fresh and has good light.
The outdoor bits are just as good. There is an adults only cabana pool that looks out over the water and honestly, just being there sort of reminds you you are living on Palm Jumeirah, not just staying for a few days. Beach access is right downstairs. So you can walk directly out to the sand whenever you want. I always notice there are people just enjoying the sunset or walking after work with a coffee in hand. Sometimes you see families having small picnics or kids splashing around.
The Andaz Lounge downstairs is a little community of its own. People chatting, some working on laptops, a feeling that is laid back but never stuffy. If you want food, there are some signature restaurants right downstairs so lunch or dinner is sorted if you do not want to cook. Even getting a car or taxi is easy here, the building is right off the main road so you are never stuck.
Living here you really get the combination of quiet privacy but with all the things you need just close by. The Palm Jumeirah itself feels special and it seems like every week there is a new place for coffee or a new shop to try. And whenever you want to just relax, the sea or the pool is right there. It just feels easy.
The only real way to know if this two bedroom apartment in Andaz Dubai The Palm works for you is to come see it, look out those windows, maybe imagine spending a Sunday at the pool or an evening just watching the lights across the water.
