There is something about Al Barari that feels different from anywhere else in Dubai. You hear it all the time, but honestly you know the moment you turn onto those leafy roads. I still remember the drive up to this villa in Al Barari Villas and slowing almost without meaning to. The whole community just eases you into the day. When you walk in here you just feel like the air is a little fresher somehow.&nbsp; This is one of the larger upgraded villas in Al Barari and with five bedrooms it does feel like a proper family home. You could have grandparents visiting for a month, kids running through the open spaces, and still have your own peaceful spot to read or think. The plot here covers about four thousand seven hundred square feet and the built up area is over sixty six hundred which is big even by Al Barari standards. There is a proper sense of space. High ceilings when you walk in make the light kind of float through the rooms. It never feels claustrophobic even when you close all the doors and windows and just want a quiet afternoon alone.&nbsp; It is unfurnished right now so you have a blank canvas to work with. Sometimes that feels a little daunting at first but for a lot of people it ends up being the best thing. You pick everything yourself instead of making do with stuff that never really fit the house. I walked into the main living area and you can almost picture how you would set up your couch to catch the sunset through those big windows and maybe a long table for those Friday family breakfasts. The floors have been upgraded and everything feels new and fresh. Even the walls have been finished in a way that feels simple but not too cold.&nbsp; The kitchen here is big enough for more than one cook. I noticed there are actually proper worktops so you can chop and talk at the same time maybe with a coffee steaming beside you. It is the sort of space where you might actually want to cook instead of just reheating something from the store. There is a maids room too obviously and it is tucked away for privacy.&nbsp; Upstairs you get all five bedrooms and each one catches a bit of sunlight in the morning. There are plenty of built in wardrobes so storage is surprisingly easy. Some of the bedrooms look straight out into the trees and you find yourself not really reaching for your phone in the morning. It is amazingly quiet up here as well. If you work from home you can actually hear yourself think.&nbsp; The backyard is big without being unmanageable. You could see a couple of orange trees going in along the wall or maybe just let the kids loose with a football. Evenings in Al Barari are special. I noticed people sometimes out walking their dogs and the kids from the neighbour villas biking or playing tag. The whole place just feels safe and easy. And the best thing is it never takes long to get to anything you need. The coffee shop is never out of reach and the schools are actually pretty close.&nbsp; The villa is vacant now so you could move in whenever it suits you really. Pricewise it is set at seventeen and a half million AED which honestly feels fair for what you are getting here specially in Al Barari where these bigger plots are getting hard to find.&nbsp; The only way you really know if this one feels right for you is to come and have a look. The way the sunlight moves through each room honestly made me want to slow down and let the day just happen around me. You can tell right away that this six bedroom villa is not just a house some builder rushed through. It was made for people to really live in. Al Barari always gets talked about for its gardens and peace and how it just feels a little different from the rest of Dubai. And it really is like that. As soon as I pulled into the community I saw someone jogging with their dog and a family heading off on bikes down a tree lined path. I even stood outside for a minute just to listen and it was actually quiet. There is a calm out here you do not feel in every neighborhood. Inside this villa you will see the Les 8 Collection is something special. It is rare. There really are only eight homes like this tucked in their own spot where green is everywhere you turn. It sounds like a big number on paper but six bedrooms actually fits well here. Every one feels open and bright and I found myself looking in each just to catch how the morning light hit the glass. The ceilings are high in that effortless way and the floor to ceiling windows never let you forget that some of Dubai's finest nature is right outside. If you like that feeling of inside blending straight into outdoors you will notice it here all around you. I actually leaned against one window and watched a couple of birds out in the garden. It feels private but also very open. I do not think you can fully get that from a photo. The finishes are all the real thing. There is nothing corners cut or too flashy. You feel the quality in the floors and the kitchen is one of those spots you'd actually want to spend time in. It is big but not cold. You could imagine friends around the island with coffee in the morning or maybe baking something for a change just because it seems easy to do. The living and dining spaces flow together so you never feel boxed in and the views catch your eye from almost every seat. Its the kind of place that would make hosting feel natural. There's almost too much room but it never feels empty. Sometimes I think the best compliment for a villa is that you can really hear yourself think. This place has that. Al Barari is also more than just green space. There are landscaped gardens just steps out the door and the nature trails here have people walking or running pretty much every morning that I have visited. Wellness is a big deal in this part of Dubai and it rubs off on you. Honestly I would be tempted to ditch the car and just explore on foot. The gym and wellness facilities are all easy to get to and you see neighbors around but it never feels crowded. Even getting to cafés or that weekend breakfast spot is simple. It's all built for a relaxed frame of mind. You literally can forget your phone for a couple hours and just wander. With a built up area that makes the space feel even bigger than it looks on paper at over eleven thousand square feet and a plot that gives you outdoor options for gardens or maybe a pool if you want, there's room for everything. Yet it is peaceful. You forget that Downtown Dubai is a short drive away. It is one of those rare pockets of the city where you feel hidden away, but nothing is far if you need it.
