Banyan Tree Residences Hillside Dubai, Jumeirah Lake Towers
Some places honestly just change your pace when you walk in. This two bedroom duplex apartment at Banyan Tree Residences Hillside Dubai did that for me. I was standing inside, near those big windows, not really thinking about the checklist stuff anymore. The city looks close but also a bit unreal out there. You get those full Emirates Hills views too, and sometimes the quiet is a bit surprising considering you are right in Jumeirah Lake Towers. It just feels easy.
First off, you have both space and height in here. On the lower level you will notice a big open living area that does not feel boxed in at all. The ceilings go straight up and the light just pours in from the windows. Sometimes you catch a little breeze through the sliding doors that lead out to the balcony garden. That spot is really something especially when the sun starts to set and all the city lights kick in. I noticed people with coffee out there reading or talking quietly so you can really use this for anything from a proper breakfast to just going outside for a phone call at the end of the day.
The kitchen actually feels like a place you would cook in for real not just order in again. There are appliances that look good but also feel solid like Siemens and Smeg. I opened a few cabinets and honestly the finishes are just nice to touch. Stone countertops and wood that looks like something you find in a boutique hotel but it does not feel cold or overly designed. It is that rare thing in Dubai where the luxury does not just mean shiny. It is more about how you move around in the space.
Upstairs each bedroom takes over its own side of the duplex. The door to the master suite is kind of hidden which gives you a quiet moment as you step in. There is a big walk in closet right there which is honestly helpful if you have more clothes than you want to admit. The ensuite bath actually has room around the sinks and the marble feels cool under your hand. There is a big window by the bed in the main room and I stood for a while just watching the birds over the golf course below.
The vibe all through the apartment is about privacy and just being at home. It never feels crowded or echoing. Even the air is a bit softer up here since you are corner facing and not staring straight into another building. Every time you look up it is either greenery from Emirates Hills or lights from the city.
Living in Banyan Tree Residences gives you a bit of a resort feeling but honestly people here just seem at ease. The spa is downstairs but I bumped into someone coming back from there in shorts just chatting with the concierge. There is a fitness centre that has real weights and big windows plus the pool deck always has at least a few loungers where you see people working on laptops. There is even a small café by the pool that smells like good coffee most afternoons and you hear quiet music drifting in the lobby sometimes.
The team that runs the building is one of the reasons people seem to stay here. It is not too formal. If you have groceries or even a big Amazon box they sort it out and it just turns up at your door. At night the place gets calm and you can walk along the little garden paths in the community if you want a bit of quiet time.
The local stuff is really close too. You can drive to the Marina in maybe five minutes on a good day and if you forget milk there is always a store open nearby. In the evenings you see couples with dogs or kids on little bikes rolling through JLT.
You will only know if it feels right by spending a bit of time here. Message if you want to come walk through or even just ask a few questions. At LuxuryProperty.com we want your next home to fit right, so everything is relaxed and no pressure in the process. Let us know how we can help.
