Some places just have a quiet kind of energy the moment you walk in. This two bedroom apartment in Anwa by Omniyat in Dubai Maritime City has that effect. Maybe it is the sea stretching out right in front of you or maybe it is the way the light spills through the big windows. Either way I found myself just slowing down a bit and standing out on the balcony for a minute to let the breeze in.

The living area is bigger than you might expect. There is this open plan feeling to it with the kitchen just off to the side so whether you like to cook or just have friends over it actually feels natural. You can see how you would spread out here. It is the kind of space where you could set up a dining table for six or even eight with plenty of room left just to relax and maybe catch up on a book. The balcony is probably my favorite spot. It faces the water straight on and I honestly wanted to just bring out a chair and do nothing for a while. It is peaceful up here. Out the front door there is more to the building than just the apartment. Anwa's amenities are pretty special. The infinity pool looks like it is floating over the sea. It really does. You could spend the afternoon out there watching the world drift by. If you ever have kids visiting or in the family there is a good sized children's pool and play areas. I saw a few parents just chatting while their little ones ran around. The gardens are nicely looked after. I even saw a yoga group in the soft grass one morning. The gym is not just an afterthought it is actually facing the sea and has everything you would need for a real workout plus you get that view every time.

The lifestyle around Dubai Maritime City has this waterfront feel with a touch of city convenience. There is a promenade that lets you walk over to Mina Rashid pretty easily. On weekends it is nice to take a stroll down to The Dubai Mall at the Sea or go check out the Queen Elizabeth II ship which you can see glittering at night. Sometimes you see couples and friends having coffee at one of the little spots nearby. The road links here are good so it never feels hard to get to other parts of Dubai.

This place could work for someone who is here part time or even as a main home. It could also just be a nice investment honestly. The area is growing and you would be getting a real sea view from your own place.
