If you are feeling competitive there is basketball or paintball and the shops and cafes are always a stroll away. Sometimes it feels like all the essentials and the fun stuff are dialed in.

Getting around is easy as well. The road connections mean you are not far from anywhere. When I was last there I noticed how quickly people can get to the nearest shops for groceries or stop at a coffee shop whenever. For families it just takes some of the stress out of the daily routine or school run.
