Some homes just draw you in. When I first walked through this three bedroom apartment at Oceana on Palm Jumeirah I actually found myself stopping in the middle of the living room. You really do get that moment where you just want to stand by the window and watch the sea for a bit. The light here hits everything differently and honestly it feels like a place where you could forget you are in the city for a while. The sea and that wild marina skyline make a proper backdrop and you are getting both at once from most rooms. You see the blue water stretch out in front of you with some proper boats going by then there is the Dubai skyline right there at the edge. It feels easy.

The apartment itself just feels roomy. The layout gives you space for everyone to actually spread out without bumping into each other all the time. Actually I ran my hand over the countertops and they feel cool smooth just like you would want if you actually like to cook every now and then. The cabinets have a genuinely sleek look not in a show-off way just simple and clean and honestly they are spacious which matters more in real life than people think. High end appliances are all there tucked in and ready to go if you ever try hosting or making a casual breakfast after a night out.

Three bedrooms means room for everyone and each has something a bit special. You will notice built-in wardrobes so you are not stuck with random cupboards getting in the way. The attached bathrooms are not too over the top but done with just the right materials so that you actually want to linger a minute longer in the morning when life gets busy. The main bedroom has a view you will not get bored of and even the guest bedrooms have more than enough space for proper beds or desks if you ever end up working from home.

Step out onto the balcony and you could easily just take your coffee out in the morning and listen to the water. It is proper big so you can throw a quiet dinner out there for a few friends if the mood strikes. People-watching is good here and sometimes you see kids biking near the marina in the evenings or you catch the light hitting the water in just the right way. On the weekends you can hear the soft sounds coming from the private beach and you know the pool is never far. Actually there is a direct path down and you find yourself heading to the sand more than you expected.

Palm Jumeirah has that relaxed but not boring vibe. You can get to the local coffee shop in no time flat or pick up essentials easily. Some of the dining around here is as good as anywhere in Dubai. Honestly though most days you might just want to hang out at home with a view like this. Community pools are kept up really well and on cooler nights the walkways get lively with people heading out for a bite or a stroll.
