4 Bedroom Villa in Fire, Jumeirah Golf Estates

Some homes just make you slow down for a minute as soon as you walk in. This four bedroom villa in the Fire community at Jumeirah Golf Estates did exactly that for me. Even standing right by the entrance I caught myself looking out across the living room and through to those wide lake views. The world seems to get a bit quieter in here. You can actually hear the birds out back if you pause for a second which is kind of rare around Dubai these days.

You get a feeling of space straight away and it is not just about the size though at over seven thousand square foot inside you are never going to have trouble fitting in the furniture. Maybe it is the natural light that comes in. Could be the way the rooms open out toward the garden and the golf course beyond. Either way it has that sort of easy flow you notice more in homes built for real living not just for show.

The kitchen is right in the middle of the home. I found myself running my hand along the breakfast island and thinking how more than one person could actually cook here together. You get top notch Miele appliances which means you will spend less time waiting for your coffee in the morning and more time deciding whether to eat at the counter or take your croissant out to the patio. There is a second kitchen tucked away perfect for the messier jobs or when you have people over and want to keep things quiet in the main space.

You will also notice the living and dining rooms are set at the back of the villa so you always get that calming view of the pool and the lake. Makes you just want to move your lunch to the terrace especially when the weather turns nice. The outdoor space feels private too. I spotted just enough neighbors through the trees to remind you there are friendly folks nearby but it never feels crowded. At the front is a guest bedroom with its own bathroom which honestly makes it easy if family comes to stay or if you like a bit of privacy between everyone.

Head upstairs and all three bedrooms have their own bathrooms and some of the biggest wardrobes I have seen in a while. You can really spread out here. The master suite has its own terrace tucked away so you get a bit of peace in the mornings. There are steps straight down to the back garden which I think could make life easier if you just want to sneak down to the pool or have coffee outside before anyone else wakes up.

One thing that surprised me was the basement. A lot of homes in Dubai just do not really use the basement but here it can be whatever you want from a games room to a cinema space or even just a quiet spot to work from home. There is proper parking with a double garage at the front plus room for guests to park out on the driveway so you will not have to worry about shuffling cars every day.

Outside is really the best part in my opinion. The garden feels like it rolls out into the lake and you have a proper seating area set up by the pool. Some evenings you get a glimpse of golfers finishing their rounds across the water. It all adds up to this sort of peaceful everyday luxury that is hard to get just anywhere in Dubai. And the thing is you are still only a short drive from everything with coffee shops and schools in the area and a feeling of escape once you are home.
