Some homes just have a way of making you breathe out and pause for a moment when you walk in. This five bedroom villa in the Earth collection at Jumeirah Golf Estates does that for me every time. I first stepped inside and just stood there by the huge patio doors, looking out at that green golf course and the sunlight spilling through. It has this calm to it that honestly feels pretty rare in Dubai, especially with all the space you get both inside and outside.
Walking through, it actually feels like a place that has held family breakfasts and lazy Saturday afternoons. The living area is open and feels big, even though you have corners that let you hide away with a cup of coffee and a book. Out those big glass doors, the garden looks looked after but not showy. There is a pool that feels just right for a morning dip before the city wakes up or for the kids to jump into after school. The trees offer enough shade if you ever just want to bring your laptop out on the lawn or watch some birds while you daydream.
The kitchen has a really good energy. You get quality details without them being in your face, and you'll spot Miele appliances and one of those big central islands that seems to end up being the spot everyone gathers around. There is a coziness to it. I often picture someone baking bread or making Sunday night pasta here for friends or family, not just another shiny show kitchen. The family living room next to it feels like where you would actually watch a movie or fall asleep mid afternoon.
Downstairs you also find that guest bedroom with its own bathroom which I think is smart, because not everyone wants to climb stairs at the end of a long day. There is a proper laundry set up and a maid's room tucked away from the main areas, which helps the place keep its relaxed vibe. The garage is big enough that you are never having to shuffle cars around.
You take the stairs up and every bedroom feels private and quiet in its own way. Built in wardrobes everywhere, a couple with dressing rooms, and those bathrooms are honestly nicer than most hotels. The main suite looks out over the golf fairways so you actually wake up with sunlight and a real view, not just a wall or another building. The terrace at the back is bigger than it looks in pictures and catches a breeze most evenings. Sometimes you can hear dusk cricket from the course if you step out.
One of my favourite spots is the basement. Not everyone uses a basement but this one is flexible, so you can do a mini cinema, gym or just pile up the toys and make a real playroom. It is that kind of house that grows with you.
Living at Jumeirah Golf Estates means you get that rare feeling of a tucked away community, but honestly you are still in Dubai. The coffee shop is never far. Golf buggies roll past in the mornings, and sometimes in the evenings you see neighbours walking or little ones biking together. The security is there but it does not feel watched. It just feels safe.
Olive Point in Earth is known for generous plots and this one is no different. Seven thousand plus square feet inside, nine thousand plus for the whole plot. Everything feels balanced, not cramped at all. The golf course just over the hedge is like your own private park some days. Entertaining works so well here, from pool parties to dinners outside, but it is also a house where you can close the doors and feel quiet.
You cannot really tell unless you come see it in person. If you have questions or want to feel what it is like to walk through, just reach out. At LuxuryProperty dot com, we try to help people move in a way that feels comfortable, not rushed, so let us know any time.
