There is something about stepping into this place that makes you pause for a second. Maybe it is the feeling of being so high up in the sky that South Beach just floats beneath you. This is the thirty seventh floor at 101 20th St and honestly even though I see a lot of properties around Miami it is not every day you get these kinds of views. East gives you the full ocean wide open and totally unobstructed. Along the north and south you get all of Miami Beach below. On a clear day you can see the city skyline and watch the boats in the bay. Sometimes you spot people in the pool down below and it is just peaceful to watch everything going on while you are up here in a real quiet calm.
The space itself is big but it does not feel overwhelming. You have got just over twenty five hundred square feet of living area and from pretty much every corner you get some angle of water in view. The layout is this double corner design which is actually pretty hard to find at The Setai and I have found people chase after it once they have been inside. The living room just pulls you towards the windows I ended up standing right by the glass for a bit. It almost feels like you could reach out and touch the ocean. You get these wraparound balconies that make morning coffee something else. There is something special about getting the sunrise in total privacy. People passing on the beach far below have no idea you are up here with a quiet cup.
This is a three bedroom villa but what truly stands out is that you have two full master suites. Both are good sized each with a king bed setup. The third bedroom easily fits a queen so everyone coming in has their corner. Each bedroom pulls in natural daylight and if you ever want a slow Saturday with blackout shades down that is easy. Actually it is all automated shades so you can kick back on the couch and just press a button for whatever mood you are in. That is probably one of my favourite things about this space it just feels easy the technology makes everyday life so simple. Sometimes you forget where your phone is because you barely need it.
I always pay attention to details people overlook and in this place the speakers are set up throughout using Sonos which means you can just let music float from room to room. The kitchen is more than somewhere to heat leftovers. I picture someone actually cooking here maybe picking up fresh catch from the market nearby. You get some peace and quiet when you want it but there is something about being so close to Miami nightlife as well. It is easy to step out if you feel like dinner down in South Beach. There are little coffee shops around and honestly kids sometimes skateboard along the side streets in the evening. The Setai itself is one of those buildings people talk about for its service. When I walk inside you can feel it right away the staff just know how to keep things low key and smooth. The whole place carries this calm elegant feel it never feels too busy even at full capacity.
Some homes just make you slow down and enjoy the space. That is what I get every time I walk through this villa at The Setai. There are places you can feel the difference the second you open the door. Photos are good but they will not show you what it is really like to wake up with floor to ceiling ocean in front of you or the way the city twinkles at night from three different directions. The only way to know if this is right for you is to come and see it. If you have questions or just want to come take your time walking through reach out anytime. At LuxuryProperty dot com our aim is to make your next move feel as comfortable as your favourite chair.
