There is something about standing at the water's edge in Miami that just makes you stop and breathe a little deeper, and honestly this waterfront villa on Venetian Islands gives you that feeling every single day. Sometimes I talk about a house being impressive but this one feels more like the way you just want life to slow down and give you space. The place is set right on the bay and you get these big Miami skyline views that almost do not look real until the light starts to change in the evening and you catch the sunset bouncing off the water. That view is a big part of every part of the house actually. There is no way to walk through the living area without being drawn straight to the window. I stood by the glass for longer than I probably should have just watching the boats drift by. It just feels relaxing.
You have got five bedrooms here and honestly you could make a sixth if you ever needed that extra space. The bedrooms themselves give you privacy and a bit of quiet even with friends or family visiting. The master suite faces the water and has this bathroom that you might not want to leave for a while with a double vanity and one of those really deep soaking tubs that makes you forget you are in a city at all. Sometimes you will just lean in the door and enjoy the view for a second before heading out for the day. When guests come by there are separate quarters so everyone has their own pocket to recharge or sleep in late.
If you are someone who loves to cook or even just appreciates a real kitchen you will notice the European style here right away with custom walnut paneling and so much space for cooking for real or just hosting. There is a catering kitchen tucked in too so if somebody else is doing the food you keep the main kitchen tidy. Personally I'd probably end up making coffee here every morning and then wandering out onto the terrace looking for that fresh Miami breeze.
One of the things I like most is how the living and dining areas sort of flow together but there is this metal screen that separates them in a way that gives a bit of privacy without walling things off. It feels like a space for real life not just for showing off at parties. You see sunlight coming in almost everywhere. There are two pools which I think is a bit over the top but in a good way. One sits right on the bay and it is the kind of infinity pool where the horizon just becomes water plus upstairs there is a rooftop pool that looks out over everything surrounded by firepits so even after dark you have a spot to gather and talk and watch the sky. I can picture a rooftop barbecue as the sun goes down and Miami starts to come alive below.
Access around the villa is easy with an elevator for when you are tired and this sort of floating staircase that is more fun to walk up than you would expect. Everything just feels spacious without being overwhelming. Oh and there is a movie theater and a proper wine cellar so if you want to spend a night in you are pretty much set. Two laundry rooms so there is never a wait for the machine. The garage feels like a little showroom and you can fit up to four cars which is helpful if you love to drive but parking is always a hassle elsewhere.
You are right in the heart of the Venetian Islands here which always feels tucked away but whenever you want the coffee shop or a little excitement Miami Beach is just over the bridge. Sometimes you see people paddleboarding right by the house or kids biking along the quiet street. It feels like somewhere you can breathe out and not worry too much about anything.
The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you want to walk through or just have questions reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com our goal is to take the stress out of finding your next home and help you feel comfortable every step of the way.
