Sometimes a house just makes you pause. Walking into this mansion at 5465 Pine Tree Dr in Miami Beach, you sort of slow down for a second. Maybe it is the way the light comes in across all those glossy Italian marble floors or you catch a breeze coming off the bay while you stand near the window. Honestly it is one of those rare homes that feels big but still warm. Ten bedrooms and even with that it does not feel overwhelming. I think it is all the custom touches from Andrea D'Alessio that make it this way. Andrea is an award winner for a reason but the space does not feel like a trophy. It feels like somewhere you could settle in for years and not get bored.
The place is big—about eleven thousand square feet of living space they say and I believe it because walking across takes a bit of time. The plot has over twenty two thousand square feet which you notice when you step outside for sure. One of the things I like is the view. You have around one hundred and twenty five feet waterfront here so if you want to pull up with a yacht you actually can. Not just a boat but a real yacht. There is a new seawall and the dock is all done so you do not need to think about upgrading anything out there.
Inside you get ceilings that go up twelve feet pretty much everywhere you walk, and the elevator just takes you right up to the roof where there is this deck that made me stop for a minute. Up there you get those skyline and ocean vibes that, honestly, you just do not get everywhere. Sometimes you can see the color of the water change late afternoon and from the rooftop it almost feels unreal.
Little details stand out. The kitchen has serious wood cabinets from Milan. It feels rich when you run your hand across them. Not just for show either. I get that sometimes these big kitchens feel like no one has ever really cooked there, but here it actually feels like you'd want to make big breakfasts and late night snacks with everyone drifting in and out. Living here is easy with the Crestron home automation so you tap a button and the lights are right or your playlist just floats out to the dock while you hang with friends.
If you like to workout at home you are covered. There is a gym that is not squished in a side room—you get space to actually move. The media room is honestly the kind you get excited about. Good sound, feels private enough to watch a big match or just binge a show if you want. Friends or family coming by never have to scramble for a place to stay since there is a separate guesthouse with two beds and two baths. Feels private for everyone. Parking too, with a three car garage that opens right up making the Miami sun less of a hassle after shopping runs.
Location wise, you are right in Miami Beach but Pine Tree Drive stays quiet. You do not get the tourist rush here. Sometimes in the evenings you see people walking dogs or heading out for coffee. There is always a breeze and sometimes you just hear birds over the water. The bay and ocean are both right there so boat rides become a weekly thing if you feel like it.
I guess what makes this bayfront mansion special is just the way it all fits together. Big but not overwhelming. Plenty of style but not overdone. Easy for big gatherings but still feels private. The only real way to know if it feels right for you is to come and see it yourself. If you want to talk or walk through, just ask. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want your next step to feel comfortable, no rush at all.
