You think you would miss outdoor space in the city but here it is built right into your home.

Now when you first walk in there is this welcoming foyer. Coat closets run from floor to ceiling. Super handy in winter or really any time because New York is always changing its mood. The master suite has a windowed dressing room that faces south. You can watch the city wake up every morning while you are picking out what to wear. The ensuite bathroom is the kind of place you actually want to spend time in. Calcutta marble takes up most of the floor and it has heated tiles. No more cold feet first thing in the morning. The tub is big enough for a good soak and there is a separate glass shower if you are rushing. I liked how natural the white oak and walnut vanity looked. Warm but still really modern.

The kitchen is open to the living space so you can cook and still talk with everyone or just listen to music. I checked the cupboards and they are solid Tanganika wood which you do not see every day. Appliances are all top notch. Gaggenau and Miele if you love to cook and a Subzero fridge for keeping things fresh. It feels like somewhere you would actually make a meal from scratch. Not just heat up something quick. And speaking of easy, there is a Niles sound system and electronic shades so you do not have to cross the room to control the music or the light. Sometimes you almost forget your phone since everything works so simply.

Right now the second bedroom is set up as a den. It has leather wrapped shelves and cabinets built in already and looks like a good place to get some work done or just crash out with a book. Of course there is an ensuite bathroom for guests or if someone wants their own space. This apartment can come fully furnished which means you just bring your suitcases and start living. Even the furniture was chosen to fit the layout so you do not have to figure anything out.

Honestly living in this part of Manhattan is about feeling connected but also having a quiet place to land. You are surrounded by incredible restaurants and shops. A real coffee place is always only a couple minutes away. In the evenings you see people walking their dogs or meeting up on tree lined streets. SoHo has its own energy but never feels overwhelming when your home is up here. You get the skyline views with none of the stress.
