The Projects We Are Looking Forward to in 2019
In 2018, we saw the delivery of long-awaited projects such as Dubai Hills Estate, District One and Burj Vista in Downtown Dubai. Going into 2019, Dubai Hills and District One will continue to hand over units, along with several other key developments. These are some of the most exciting projects we are anticipating in 2019.
Dubai Creek Residences

Every new detail that has come up regarding Dubai Creek Harbour, from Dubai Creek Tower to the mega retail area known as Dubai Square to Dubai’s first Chinatown, has us looking forward to the completion of this ambitious master community. The first steps will be taken in 2019, when Dubai Creek Residences becomes the first residential project in Dubai Creek Harbour to start handing over units.
Alef Residences

This magnificent project on the West Crescent of the Palm is one that we have been anticipating for some time. Comprising a collection of 104 stunning penthouses serviced by W Dubai The Palm, this is set to be one of the finest addresses on Palm Jumeirah and indeed in Dubai. The Alef Residences are very close to completion and we can expect handover sometime in the first quarter of 2019.
One Palm

Another of our favourite upcoming projects, One Palm (also known as One by Omniyat) is located along the main trunk of Palm Jumeirah. One Palm has a gorgeous architectural design that will make it truly stand out amongst the other residential offerings on the trunk and residents can choose from one of two interior schemes - one by British firm Elycion and the other by Japanese studio Super Potato. Each design scheme features exceptional finishes and a perfect combination of high-end materials and relaxing colours. The residences are serviced by the renowned Dorchester Hotel. Handover is expected early in 2019.
Bluewaters Residences

Toward the end of 2018, we saw the official opening of Bluewaters Island. Located off the coastline of Jumeirah Beach Residence and accessible by a specially constructed pathway, Bluewaters is a vibrant mix of urban design and island living. The major highlights of the island include the newly opened Caesars Bluewaters resort and the magnificent Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel and Dubai’s latest architectural icon. Handover should commence quite early in 2019.
XXII Carat

Palm Jumeirah is going to be one of Dubai’s busiest destinations in 2019 as yet another set of residences starts welcoming in new homeowners. The gorgeous development known as XXII Carat is the height of exclusivity on the island, consisting of just 22 villas. Each home has an outer design reflecting the charming houses of Tuscany and an interior that exemplifies the idea of luxury living. Residents can choose from two interior layouts - Classic and Contemporary - with each featuring lavish marble finishes and an exceptional sense of design. We should be seeing handover in Q1 2019.
Hillside

A beautiful new neighbourhood being developed in Jumeirah Golf Estates, Hillside features a collection of 20 contemporary villas that bring a stunning new design sensibility to a community known for its Mediterranean-inspired homes. The main feature of each villa is a top floor ‘penthouse suite’, which is essentially a complete home by itself. Hillside is located along the first and tenth holes of the world-class Earth course, where the DP World Tour championship is hosted every November. Units should start handing over early in 2019, giving homeowners plenty of time to settle in before golf season begins anew.
Address Skyview

Located at the gateway to Downtown Dubai, Address Skyview features a unique architectural style that will set it apart in the city’s skyline. It offers one to four-bedroom apartments along with the very exclusive Sky Collection which comprises three to six-bed apartments on the upper floors of the twin towers. Residents of Address Skyview will have a direct view of the Burj Khalifa, will be in walking distance of Dubai’s best attractions, and will benefit from the five-star services of the renowned Address brand. Handover should begin closer to the end of the year.
