Jumeirah Gate Tower 1, The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa, Jumeirah Beach Residence
Some apartments just slow you down a little the moment you cross the threshold. This two bedroom place at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa pulled that off for me, honestly. I guess you know what I mean when you walk in and actually feel like sitting for a minute. There is this soft daylight coming in through glass doors and you can just glance across and spot Bluewaters Island out there. Every living space has its own mood, and this one happens to feel bright and just a touch away from all the buzz of Jumeirah Beach Residence.
I sat in the lounge for a while while I was there, trying not to check my phone. You almost forget about it, anyway. The light there has a way of making you want to stay longer. You might want to try the sofa yourself, just to see. As you walk further in, the kitchen stands ready alongside the living area. It is fitted out properly with all the real appliances, and not just the usual basic stuff. I could actually imagine someone here cooking proper meals, not just warming up things in the microwave. The clean lines, the smooth countertop, it makes meal prep kind of tempting. Some people end up ordering in most nights when they live this close to all the restaurants in JBR and Bluewaters Island, but you can see how someone might end up staying in and cooking instead.
The bedrooms have just the right amount of space. You will notice lots of natural light, especially in the main one. Ensuite bathrooms too, so no need to share. Honestly, the closet space surprised me. Enough room for more than one shopping trip, no problem. It is all finished with a proper sense of comfort in mind, nothing over the top but definitely a notch up from most apartments around Jumeirah Beach Residence.
The views really do pull you back time and again. Some days you might wake up and just look out and see the water, maybe even with a quick coffee in hand before work. In the evenings, Bluewaters starts lighting up. If you like a bit of a stroll, you are right on Marina Walk and not far from the private beach here. A lot of evenings you will see parents walking their kids or even just groups chatting after sunset. There are even cafes where you can steal a morning with a book, the smell of ground coffee kind of wafts around. The beach is just a short walk if you fancy a swim or just sandy feet.
The building itself has its perks. There is a gym that is actually used, not the dusty unused kind. Machines are up to date and there is enough space for a good workout. The pool area feels a little like a holiday, palm trees around and there is a place to lounge, not just swim laps. On the chillier evenings you might end up trying out the sauna or Jacuzzi. The spa has a calm feeling that might make you stay longer than you planned. I overheard a couple of residents say they look forward to the weekends mostly for the pool and spa alone.
Security and peace of mind are sorted. Concierge and front desk are always at hand and they actually make a note when new faces show up. That's something you do not always find. Parking is straightforward. If you want to park yourself there is space and if you feel like getting dropped off valet works too. With all of this, your new place sits right in the middle of some of the best food and beach experiences Dubai can offer.
The way this apartment feels is more important than just counting bedrooms or features. Sometimes that is the bit that tells you to stay a little longer. If you think it could be right, the best thing anyone can do is just walk through in person. I am around if you want to see it or if you have questions. We keep it simple at LuxuryProperty.com because a new home should feel easy before all else.
