Sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in. That is what happened when I opened the door to this two bedroom apartment at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa. Right away, you get a sense that you could actually live here. Not just visit or come for a holiday. I found myself wandering through the living room, kind of slowing down and looking out towards the sea. The view is easy on the eyes. You can look straight out from the balcony and see the blue water stretching off to the edge. Sometimes you catch a bit of the early morning haze hanging over the boats and if you turn your head slightly you catch Palm Jumeirah in the distance. It is just peaceful in a way you do not always get in Dubai.

The apartment is fully furnished but not in a hotel way. It feels thoughtful. The colours are soft, nothing too flashy, which honestly helps the whole place feel more relaxed. You could work from home here just as easily as you could invite some friends over and have a long slow dinner. There is plenty of seating and you do not feel crowded. I actually sat down on the couch for a few minutes just to see what it felt like and it is one of those places where you would end up forgetting about your phone for a bit. Sometimes you catch the distant sound of the beach below, but mostly it is quiet.

The kitchen is actually pretty usable. Not just for heating up takeaways, but real cooking. There is enough bench space and storage, and you can look out towards the living area while you chop or clean up. If you like to have a coffee in the morning, the light kind of fills the whole space and you notice that there is a real sense of privacy here even though you are so close to everything. You have easy access to Jumeirah Beach Residence, plus Bluewaters Island is just a short walk away. If you ever wanted to grab a coffee or a bite to eat, there are so many good options downstairs. Sometimes you will see people heading out for a run on the sand or kids biking along the paths in the evenings.

One of my favourite spots is the balcony. It is big enough to stretch out with a book or just lean against the railings and watch the world drift by. Sunsets here linger for a long time and every evening looks a bit different. You actually get a good view of Ain Dubai too—the big wheel lights up at night and becomes a bit of a landmark you will always notice after dark.

Both bedrooms are a good size. The master suite feels calm, almost like it is own little world. The en suite bathroom is one of those places you want to take your time in. The fittings are polished but nothing feels over the top. If you like your space, you will appreciate the storage here as well. Even the closets are generous, so you do not have to worry about things piling up.

Living at The Address Jumeirah means you get to use all the best bits—the infinity pools really stand out, especially with those views out to the islands. There are five different restaurants and bars. Some mornings you will see people lingering over breakfast with the view or others in the evening heading out with friends. The whole building just feels welcoming, never too busy. You get your own parking space too which always helps.

Honestly it is the kind of place where the city is close, but it stays peaceful. The beach is always visible, the water is always just there, and the atmosphere just feels easy.
