Jumeirah Living, World Trade Centre Residence, World Trade Center
Sometimes you walk into a place and it surprises you in the best way. That is what happened when I visited this three bedroom duplex up in the Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence. The building itself feels special from the moment you walk through the lobby. You can almost imagine old Dubai mixing with all the new energy you see outside. This apartment is on one of the higher floors so you get some of the best views you can find. Honestly you just want to stand by the window for a bit and stare out at Zabeel and all the towers Downtown. The floor to ceiling glass pulls in so much daylight that the rooms just feel bigger and easier. Even if you're having a long day the whole place gives off a kind of calm.
There is something about the way this duplex is laid out that makes you feel like you've got your own corner of the city. The ceilings are that double height kind which gives the main living space a bit of drama but in a friendly way. Every time I've come here I notice people tend to look up and just take a breath. It is almost like the extra headroom makes everything else simpler. The kitchen is semi closed off so you get a bit of privacy if you're actually cooking but you can still talk to whoever is hanging out in the living area. I poked around in the cupboards and they're all soft close and honestly if you actually enjoy making a meal or even just warming up leftovers this kitchen feels like it wants to be used. Plus all the appliances are built in and ready to go so you do not have to mess with waiting for deliveries or installations.
The bedrooms feel tucked away and private which I kind of love. It never gets too noisy even though the city is always moving somewhere outside. Each bedroom comes with its own touches that make you want to settle in straight away. Big windows mean mornings start with a bit of sunlight and sometimes you'll even hear the city starting up before you ever have to check your phone. Closets are proper built in ones not just racks. Bathrooms have that just right mix of polished and comfortable so you can actually see yourself soaking in after work without making a spa day out of it.
One thing that keeps standing out to me about the World Trade Centre Residence is how practical it is. You are not tucked away in some remote corner. Sheikh Zayed Road is right nearby so getting pretty much anywhere in Dubai is quick. The Metro station is literally just down the road so a few days a week I do not even bother with my car. Schools and supermarkets are all around you. There's always a fresh coffee to be found within a few minutes whether you're up early or catching a late one. You even spot families and joggers most mornings. It is a busy area but inside the building you'd honestly never know. The security on site is switched on and the front desk staff actually remember you if you come by more than once.
Since the place is vacant you could actually move in quick. There's no weird waiting around and the transition could be about as easy as it gets. When I was last there in the evening I noticed the lights of Downtown flickering on from the windows and it just kind of felt like the city was yours for a bit. At two thousand seven hundred and eighty seven square feet you get way more room than what most apartments in the area give you. Pet friendly too from what people say downstairs.
If you're looking for a three bedroom apartment with real style and some breathing space right at World Trade Centre this is one that just works. The only way to know if it feels right is to come walk through for a bit. If you have questions or you want to get a better look just reach out.
