Executive Residences 1, Executive Residences, Dubai Hills Estate
Some apartments just feel right when you walk in. This one bedroom place at Executive Residences in Dubai Hills Estate kind of caught me off-guard, honestly. You come in and it just feels better than most. Maybe it is the light. The living room has these big windows and I actually stood by one for a couple minutes just watching how quiet the park was down below. You get green views but you are not really far up either so it feels connected to what is outside. There is a balcony, sort of tucked away, and if you look out, you really see how everyone goes about their evening walks or just sits with coffee and lets the day settle. Sometimes you hear the birds more than the city, which does not happen everywhere in Dubai.
Inside, the space is bigger than I expected for a one bedroom. Six hundred forty six square feet, which really works because nothing is too tight and you do not bump into things. It is open plan so the kitchen blends into the living and dining part. The kitchen itself feels like somewhere you would actually cook or try a new recipe. It has those clean, modern cabinets and all the appliances ready for you but it does not feel showy. Honestly, it just feels easy.
The bedroom is nice and peaceful. You have these built-in wardrobes, enough space for your stuff but they are not trying too hard to look fancy. The bed area feels cosy, and in the mornings, the natural light wakes up the room without being harsh. It is quiet at night too. The bathroom is exactly where you need it and right beside the bedroom, so it is not some long walk when you are tired in the evening.
One thing you will probably notice, especially if you have lived in other places in the city, is how much slower everything feels here. You walk out your door and you are basically in the park. Sometimes you see people jogging in the morning or kids riding bikes when the sun sets and honestly, it makes you want to spend more time outside. It is not just green for the sake of it, the park here is used all the time. Some weekends you might not even want to go anywhere because everything is close. Dubai Hills Mall is just a short walk away, so if you need groceries or a quick coffee, it is all right there. You also have King's College Hospital not far, which gives a nice sense of security if you ever need it.
The building itself is built for easy living. There is a swimming pool that looks out toward the green spaces, a gym that has all the basics covered, and a play area that gets pretty lively in the afternoons. People who live here seem to say hello and you will see them in the shared spaces, not just passing by. If you like to relax there are places to just sit and be, which I find makes it feel more like a real home than just another apartment block.
Getting anywhere from here is a breeze. If you need to be in Downtown or Dubai Marina for work or a night out, Al Khail Road gets you there fast. It kind of sits in this sweet spot where you are close enough to everything, but you do not live in the middle of all the noise.
To be honest, you cannot always tell from photos or even reading about it online if an apartment will feel right. The only way is to walk in, take it in, maybe stand by that window yourself. If you have questions or want to have a look in person, I am always around. At LuxuryProperty dot com, we just want to help you find somewhere that makes life a bit simpler and nicer. So let me know if you want to stop by.
