4 bedroom villa in The Springs

Some places just make you take a breath before you even say hello. This four bedroom villa in The Springs really does that. I walked in and could already see myself wanting to slow down and stretch out the afternoon a bit. It sits on a quiet cul de sac in Springs 9 so there is barely a car going by and you hear more birds than traffic most of the day. I actually stood by that front window and watched the sun move across the garden for a few minutes longer than I meant to. You sort of forget you are in Dubai sometimes.

The villa is set across a good piece of land. Plot size here is five thousand two hundred twenty five square feet and the built up area gives you about two thousand two hundred fifty eight square feet. And it never feels crowded inside. Downstairs you will find a big living room with windows that really grab the morning light especially now in winter. The wooden floors give it a bit of a cozy feel you do not always find in Dubai villas. You will notice the kitchen has been refreshed and it is not one of those kind of kitchens that sits untouched. It actually feels like the sort of space somebody would bake bread or make real meals. There is a study downstairs which the owner cleverly set up as another bedroom which makes it flexible if you have a guest or nanny or even a teenager who wants their own corner. Laundry and a powder room are both tucked out the way and the garden honestly is one of my favourite bits. Trees line most of the fence so there is real privacy. There is a simple seating area too where you could just stretch out in the shade and lose track of the time. I saw a few butterflies even which just shows how much the garden is looked after.

Upstairs feels calm. The master bedroom is big and you get your own bathroom and a balcony that looks out quietly over the garden and the edge of one of those pretty Springs lakes. You can spot the Marina skyline in the distance too which actually looks really peaceful especially in the evenings when the city lights come up. The other two bedrooms are a nice size and both have their own built in closets. Those two rooms share a bathroom in the hall so it just feels easy and logical for a family who needs a bit of separation after a long day. And yes the whole place comes unfurnished which means you can really make it your own right from the start.

The Springs itself is the kind of place where you see people walking dogs in the early morning and you will spot kids cycling around after school. It just feels neighbourly. You are never far from a community pool. This villa is about a seven minute walk from the nearest one so you do not always need to hop in the car. There are parks all around too and some really pretty lakes you can wander by in the evening. If you have little ones there are more than a couple playgrounds around and barbecue spots that fill up with the smell of grilling on weekends. You are close to some well known schools and there are grocery shops and cafes tucked here and there in the community. Even bigger malls and restaurants are less than ten minutes drive away. Getting to Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road is simple and quick so commuting just does not feel like a hassle.

This villa is currently owner occupied which always shows in the way a place is kept. It is not staged or dressed up. It has just been lived in well and is waiting for someone else to put their own stamp on it. Available from mid February so you could be in here in time to really catch those lovely early spring days.
