For a family or anyone who just likes life to feel easy, there is direct access straight into Dubai Mall. It means the coffee shop is never far, groceries and shops are around the corner, and you can pretty much walk everywhere if you want. Kids sometimes bike in the evenings near the fountains—it is that sort of place.
