Some places just have a feeling that is hard to put into words. When you step inside this one bedroom apartment at Standpoint Tower A in Downtown Dubai you really pick up on it. Maybe it is the light that fills the space or the way you slow down for a beat as you notice the windows looking out at those famous Dubai Fountain views. Honestly I think it is just one of those homes that makes you breathe a little easier.
You walk in and straight off the entrance you find the kitchen. Everything is ready for you here. The cabinets are big enough for all your groceries and kitchen gadgets and I noticed there is a decent amount of countertop space so you actually want to cook here. Not just heat up takeout which happens more than we all admit. The kitchen opens right onto the living area. It feels surprisingly open and social so you could be making coffee in the morning and still chat with whoever is flopped on the sofa. I stood by the windows and watched sunlight spilling everywhere. There is this balcony as well that you might end up using more than you think since the fountain is right there and sometimes you just want to hear the city. Even in the evenings it flickers with energy but you still feel like you are in your own corner above the busy streets.
The bedroom is a nice size. Not too big that it feels empty but enough space for a pretty big bed plus a reading chair if you want one. The built in closet keeps things simple so there is no mess. I also liked the way the attached bathroom just feels part of the space instead of being hidden away. It is all put together to make your morning easy and there is just something comfortable about it.
Living in Standpoint Tower A is honestly a bit of a treat because you have everything right at hand. I walked down to the pool for a look and you can see yourself spending afternoons there especially on the weekends when you just do not feel like leaving the building. The gym is properly set up and does not feel cramped so you actually feel like working out. If you ever want to head out for dinner or just a quick coffee the wait is never long. You are just a few steps from Dubai Opera and Burj Khalifa so there is always something buzzing nearby. Families come out in the evenings and sometimes you will see visitors just looking up at all the lights. There is a metro station really close so commuting is simple for work or for meeting friends a bit further out. Downtown Dubai itself feels alive with new coffee shops popping up now and then and all sorts of restaurants from quick eats to fancy ones for special nights.
What I noticed also is how Standpoint Towers keep things a bit quieter compared to some other parts of Downtown. It is busy when you want it to be but you have your moments of peace which is actually rare sometimes. There is plenty of greenery and the paths are great for a late walk. Plus the security and staff in the building always say hello which just adds to that everyday comfort.
You really just have to walk through it to get a sense of how the apartment fits into your life. You picture mornings with the city waking up outside then maybe winding down after a day with a view of the fountains lighting up. If you have any questions about the apartment or you just want to pop by and see how it feels in person let me know. At LuxuryProperty dot com we care that each move feels like the right one for you.
