About this property

There are places that just make you take a deeper breath as soon as you step inside. This five bedroom estate out on North Hibiscus Drive in Miami Beach gave me one of those moments. I caught myself slowing down just to let it all sink in. This is not just the sort of property you walk through and forget about. The way the light comes in off the bay, bouncing around softly against stone and wood, you start to wonder if you'll ever want to leave.

The first thing you'll probably notice is how open everything feels. The built up area is spacious but not in a way that feels too big to handle. Family homes in Miami sometimes feel a bit over the top, but this one just feels easy. You can tell someone genuinely paid attention to how the rooms would flow into one another. I spent a bit of time near those big doors leading out onto the veranda, and I have to say, it's almost like the inside and outside blend together here. You're looking out over these gardens that are actually green. Birds flit through the trees and you get these glimpses of the blue bay water. The living rooms have a soft, natural light most of the day. There's a fireplace too, which is a bit rare in Florida, and it gives the space a real old character. You just want to sit there for a while with a coffee or a good book.

Wander through the kitchen and you'll see it's not just built to look fancy. Sure, there's a lot of marble, and the wood cabinets have that boutique look that catches your eye, but everything here is set up so that you could actually cook a meal from scratch. You can imagine a family gathering or friends coming over after a Saturday at the beach. The appliances are all fitted in and there's plenty of counter space for chopping or even having some people hanging out while you cook. I even leaned against the counter for a bit just enjoying how calm it all felt.

The bedrooms are set up to feel personal. They are not blank spaces. You'll see the built in closets are roomy, but it's the balconies that really make you want to linger. Honestly, I just stood for a while watching how the water changes color as the sun moves. Each room manages to have a bay view or at least a sense of privacy because of the way the gardens are grown up around the house. Mornings must be something else here. Sun comes in at different angles and sometimes you almost forget your phone.

One thing I appreciated was the driveway and the carports out front. It's not huge but two vehicles fit easily. And it is tucked in so you don't feel like you're on show to the whole street. If you're someone who wants convenience, you've got that, but you'll also notice there is still a sense of privacy. Kids can ride bikes outside and it feels like the kind of place the neighbors wave when you pass by.

The bay right in front of the estate changes your pace too. You can walk down and just watch the boats or even try a little paddleboarding if that's your thing. Miami Beach itself is always buzzing, but here on Hibiscus Island, it feels a lot quieter. That coffee shop that everyone goes to is a short drive away. In the evenings the breeze off the water is honestly one of the best things—it makes the house feel cool without needing to turn up the air conditioning.

All in all there is something lasting about this property. Not flashy, but genuinely elegant. The colors are mostly soft white and touches of marble and warm woods give it just enough grace without feeling fussy. It might not be for everyone, but if you want a real home in Miami Beach—a villa that feels like it grew out of the island rather than landed on top of it—you should see it for yourself.

The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have questions or just want to walk through, reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
