1 bedroom apartment in Orra Marina

There is something about the light in Orra Marina that makes you pause for a second when you walk in. This one bedroom apartment really surprised me because first off the views grab you straight away. Standing right by the floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom you get this wide open look over the marina with boats slowly passing through and you can even see a few of the cafes lighting up as the sun goes down. You cannot fake this kind of view. And honestly you just feel like things slow down even in the heart of Dubai Marina where life never really stops. The space is just about perfect for one person or even a couple that wants comfort but does not want to feel boxed in. It is just over nine hundred square feet but feels bigger since the layout gives you a nice flow from the living room over to the kitchen and into the bedroom. 

The living area actually made me want to just sink into the sofa for a while. It does not feel like one of those show apartments where you are scared to sit down or bump something. One small detail that stuck with me the bedroom gets so much light during the day thanks to the big window and the view just makes it feel bigger I think. You have more than enough built in storage so you are not getting tripped up by suitcases or piles of shoes. The bathroom sits just off the bedroom and it is finished cleanly with a walk in shower and modern fittings nothing over the top but just right for easy mornings. And I have to mention the amenities because when you live at Orra Marina these are a real bonus. You've got a pool you can actually swim laps in on the weekends since it is temperature controlled so you can use it year round. The gym is fully loaded and gets natural light which is crazy rare around here. The concierge folks are always there and friendly usually they remember your coffee order after a week or so. 

Living here puts you right in the heart of Dubai Marina which means you are never more than a few minutes from anything you need. The building sits right along the water so on weekends you see folks running along the promenade or families heading to cafés. If you work nearby the transport links are great there are taxis buzzing around and the Metro is not far either. Shopping and groceries are quick walks away so you never have to plan much, just pop downstairs and go. Evenings tend to be pretty lively with people heading out but honestly inside the apartment you feel miles away from the noise.
