Some homes make you slow down the second you walk in. This spot on 9420 W Broadview Dr in Miami feels like that. Right away, you see the water and sunlight is everywhere and the place just opens up in a way that makes you want to take your time. The living area is almost all glass so you get bay views all day and sometimes even the way the trees move across the water can surprise you. You might just find yourself standing there without a plan for a few minutes.
It is hard to say what I noticed first because everything kind of flows together. It has seven bedrooms so there is plenty of space but it does not feel too big or cold. It just feels easy. I walked through and you can actually picture family or friends hanging out together in the main space with those doors that slide all the way back so suddenly the inside and outside just become one. There is a big covered patio that actually gets a breeze and with the summer kitchen out there you can grill for real. If you have people over they are not all crammed inside just wandering.
The kitchen is serious for anyone who likes to actually cook. I sometimes see big kitchens but they just look pretty instead of useful. Here you get Subzero and Wolf appliances and more storage than you probably need and it still feels comfortable. I really liked the big counters and there's space to spread out so you are not bumping into anyone. Even little touches like the lighting stand out. The Lutron control system makes it pretty simple to set the right mood. If you prefer to put your own spin on the place the furniture is not included so you get to pick what feels like home.
If wine is your thing there is something kind of special about an automated temperature controlled wine cellar tucked away. It can hold over five hundred bottles. I found myself thinking about a dinner party with everyone gathered around and just enjoying each other. Over at the master suite you have a private balcony and to be honest you just want to sit a little longer just to watch the sunset hit the bay. The bathroom is all marble but it does not feel cold or over the top. There is even a detail with baccarat torches that is hard not to appreciate. It is the kind of master bedroom that feels like you can actually relax in for more than just sleeping.
The house was designed by Choeff Levy and you can tell everything was considered. Nothing feels forced. It was built in 2017 so you get that new but lived in feeling. The interiors got the treatment from Roberto Migotto who knows how to make a place both grand and inviting at the same time. You get modern touches without losing that sense of Miami ease.
The community itself in Bay Harbor Islands is one of those places where things are calmer. People actually know their neighbors. Sometimes you see kids biking or families walking by the water in the evenings. Indian Creek Golf Course is right out across the bay so if you love golf or just a good view you're set. There is also this genuine feeling of privacy even though everything you need is never far and you do not have to go into the thick of the city just to get something good to eat or find a coffee shop.
Honestly this home just has an energy that is tough to put into words. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it yourself. If you want to talk through anything or just want a walk through with someone who knows the area pretty well just let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we do our best to make your next move feel a little more comfortable.
