Actually, on the day I toured this villa, I stood in the living room for a minute and just watched the garden outside light up as the sun moved. Makes you want to just hang out by the window for a while and maybe not reach for your phone.

When you step in, the flow feels so easy. The living spaces just run right into each other but still feel cosy. The kitchen sits near the heart of the house. It actually has enough space if you ever feel like going beyond toast or a quick salad. There's an inviting feel to it that might just inspire you to call some friends over for lasagna night. The living area opens through sliding doors to a private patio and that small green backyard. On a cool evening you'll find yourself wanting to sit out there with friends or maybe just your dog. The Ranches Souk is three minutes away if you need to grab milk or you just want a cup of coffee. The community has its own gym and pool if that interests you. For families, Ranches Primary School is really close and the Jumeirah English Speaking School is just up the road. The drive to Arabian Ranches Golf Club is short enough that if you love golf you'll probably start playing more. Some weekends you might even head over to the Polo and Equestrian Club just for a change of pace.

Honestly what I liked most about this villa was the feeling that things just worked. There was no stuffy formalness. It is close to most places in Dubai as well. You can head out to major malls or beaches and it is never much of a hassle. The pace in Arabian Ranches 2 is a notch or two slower than central Dubai though. Some people love that. Some people want more buzz. You will know which you are.
