Some places have a certain energy the moment you walk in and I have got to say this four bedroom penthouse up on the 82nd floor of Elite Residence in Dubai Marina is one of those spaces. There is something unusual about being this high up. You press the button in the lift for the very top and you get these few seconds of anticipation. Then the doors open and before you know it all of Dubai sort of rolls out in front of you.
Honestly the views are what I noticed first and I think everyone would. You can just stand in front of these big floor to ceiling windows and see the whole sweep of Palm Jumeirah. Boats moving out toward the edge of the Gulf. Sometimes the sunlight glints off the water in a way that makes you stop whatever you are doing just to look. And with windows on each side the city changes depending on where you are in the penthouse. Morning feels totally different to evening. At night all the lights from the Marina below make you feel like you are floating above everything.
The space is not just for show though. This is six thousand square feet to move around in. The living area is open and the ceilings are high so it feels easy to breathe. When I sat on the couch for a minute I realized it is just as comfortable as it is impressive. Not stiff. And right next to it you have this big terrace. On a cool evening you could honestly just let the doors stay open and almost forget how high above the street you are.
The kitchen actually feels like somewhere you might want to cook for real. It is custom made and all the appliances are from Miele so you can do proper meals and have people over. The dining area is tucked close but not cramped at all. Sometimes those big penthouses look grand in photos but when you are standing in them the layout makes it tough to picture everyday life. This one is different. I tried to imagine families and dinner parties and honestly it just makes sense.
There are four bedrooms altogether and the walk in wardrobes are not just a feature to tick off a list. They are huge. You could almost get lost in them. The master suite is especially private which is always nice when you need a bit of quiet after a long day. The furniture and details have all been carefully chosen. It is already fully furnished so you do not have to worry about making it feel like home from scratch unless you want to bring in your own touch.
There is also an indoor pool and as soon as I stepped inside that part of the penthouse it was clear this is somewhere you could really unwind. Some people love to swim in the morning before work or just relax in the evenings when the city is glowing. Even if you do not consider yourself a swimmer it is just a nice place to escape for a bit. They have even included a maid's room so if you need extra help around the house it is already thought of.
Being up here does not mean feeling disconnected either. When you want to get out you step into one of the most lively areas in Dubai. The Marina has cafes and restaurants that open early and stay buzzing late into the night. Grocery runs are easy and you will find that the beach is never far. Some evenings you can see families strolling down by the water or people jogging at sunrise.
And here is something else you do not always find. The penthouse is actually turn key ready. So you can walk in with your bags and start your life right away. There is no months of waiting around for things to be finished or hunting for furniture.
Honestly this is the kind of property that you have to experience in person. Photos or my words do not really grab the way the light shifts through the rooms or how quiet it can feel even with the Marina below. If any of this sounds like it could work for your lifestyle I always say just come see it. The only way to know if it feels like home is to walk through yourself. Questions welcome any time and I am happy to help however I can. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want the whole move to feel as simple and comfortable as possible.
