Some homes are a bit like a calm breath after a busy day and that is exactly what I felt when I walked into this four bedroom villa in Mirador La Coleccion in Arabian Ranches. I took my time at the entry just letting the air settle around me and peeking out at the garden through the wide windows. There are certain places that just feel right even before you look at any of the features. Honestly sometimes you can almost imagine the way weekends might go here.
So here is what you get day to day. The garden is big. I do mean it. The whole plot is spread over about thirteen thousand square feet so your outside space is something you will notice every morning. The grass was fresh and soft under my shoes and you can hear the quiet that the community is known for. I imagine a couple of chairs near the pool where the light comes through in the afternoon and a barbecue going on a laidback Friday afternoon. There is even a sense that you do not have to keep an eye on kids every second since the garden feels private and secure. Sometimes you spot the same kids in the area biking past in the evenings which always adds a bit of warmth to the place.
When you walk in you get a guest bedroom on one side. It has its own bathroom so if you have family visiting or someone staying over it is just that bit easier. The living room is across the hall and there is a spot for an electric fireplace if you ever want to turn a random Thursday evening into something a little cozier. The living area just flows straight into a formal dining space and then the kitchen which feels pretty open. I stood by the counter and you can actually see all the way out to the garden which means if you are someone who actually enjoys cooking you are not tucked away from everything. The informal dining corner there is where you can picture some real family breakfasts or maybe you drop your keys and bag right there when you get home from work. Even from the kitchen the garden draws you out. You might end up walking out with your morning coffee more than you expect.
Upstairs it feels private without being boxed in. The master suite is just to the left at the top and it is big enough for a small reading chair and a coffee table if you want to make a little retreat for yourself. The balcony up here is more than just for show. I stood outside and the first thing I noticed was how open it feels out across the estate. Not crammed between neighbors or boxed in but a full view over green space which really sets the tone for the day. The master bathroom is right there so you can actually roll out of bed and move straight to your morning routine without bumping into anyone else.
There are two more bedrooms up here and they share a bathroom in between. Honestly they feel like they belong to a real family and not just a place that is too perfect to live in every day. The light comes in steady and soft and you can imagine studying at the desk or even napping with the window open. There is a sense of quiet upstairs that you do not always get in larger villas.
The community is Mirador La Coleccion right inside Arabian Ranches. It is one of those places where the streets are always swept the trees are grown up and the community vibe is strong. Grocery stores are never too far. The little bakery down the road smells like fresh bread almost every morning. Sometimes you see neighbors walking their dogs or just chatting on their porches.
