Some homes just have a way of making you pause as soon as you step inside. That happened to me at this three bedroom townhouse in Safi Townhouses right in Dubai Town Square. It is something about the way the sunlight slips through all the open spaces, and how it feels kind of quiet even though you are very much inside Dubai. The minute I came through the entry, I got this wide open feeling because the glass panels at the back just draw your eye straight through to the patio. If you are the sort of person who actually cares about having proper indoor and outdoor areas that feel all connected, this bit will stand out to you. I spent a moment by the window just looking out over the patio and garden, and honestly, it instantly made me imagine what easy weekends could feel like here, or maybe slow dinners with family under the sky. There is a clear calm energy to this part of Town Square and finding that so close to everything else in Dubai is pretty rare.
One thing that surprised me is how roomy the layout actually feels. You have over two thousand square feet of built up area and because it is spread across two levels, none of it feels squeezed or boxy. Downstairs is set out for real life, not just showings. The kitchen stands out to me. You can always tell when a kitchen is just for looks or actually designed so someone could cook a proper meal and have everyone hanging out. Here you get a real breakfast bar with enough space that people are not elbowing each other trying to pour coffee, and the finishes are simple and just right. It feels like a spot you would want to cook in, maybe even get everyone involved. There is a maid room and some extra storage close by which makes everyday stuff way easier, whether you are hiding away sports gear, putting away shopping, or just stacking up holiday decorations for next year. Guests also have a proper powder room so no awkward wandering upstairs. You get a covered garage sorted at the front door too, and some days that little walk with your groceries makes all the difference.
Head upstairs and it feels just as open. Each of the bedrooms has its own thing going on which I actually liked. You get these gentle colours and big windows that pull in morning light, but it is never that harsh Dubai glare. The main bedroom, I have to say, has a balcony that looks right over the garden so you get birds in the mornings and sometimes a laugh or two from the pool nearby when the weather is good. The ensuite bathroom actually has space for more than one person to get ready in peace and there is solid wardrobe space. Nothing worse than feeling like you have to play musical chairs with your shirts every morning. The other bedrooms work for guests or kids and you will spot tall ceilings and that not crowded vibe even if life gets busy and you have things everywhere.
Honestly, though, the best part of living in Safi Townhouses is probably the community itself. You really do see neighbours stop to chat or grab a coffee, and weekends in Town Square Park have a kind of energy that just makes you want to walk around. You will see kids biking around or maybe someone running or walking the dog on the tracks. Quick coffee spots are never too far, so even when the day gets busy, you can always sneak out for a pick me up or grab breakfast out. Residents can use the Vida wellness centre, swim in the pool complex, try the tennis court or just hang out in the playground with some music or laughter floating in the air.
With Emirates Road so close, it is easy to pop out to Al Barsha for shopping or get to the airport without hassle. That makes this place both calm and connected, so you get a kind of easy lifestyle mix not always found in Dubai. It just feels simple to settle in or to head out for an evening.
