Some places just make you want to drop your keys and stay awhile. This three bedroom townhouse at Emaar Beachfront really does that. The minute I stepped inside I slowed down, probably because you can catch a glimpse of the sea through those huge windows even before you make it past the front hall. There is just something easy about living here and honestly you can almost hear the sound of the water calling you outside.
The ground floor kind of sets the tone. The living and dining spaces are open but not too big, so you do not lose that cozy feeling. The kitchen is right there and it actually feels like somewhere you would enjoy making breakfast, with a small bar so people can chat or kids can perch with their juice and cereal. I like that it is not too formal. Sometimes you see those show kitchens and think you would never touch a pan in there but this one invites you in. There is a guest bedroom downstairs which came as a nice surprise for me. It is en-suite too so people who stay over get their own privacy. There is also a powder room, just right if you are the type who loves having friends over, and even a laundry space tucked away so you do not have to look at piles of washing all the time.
What really makes this level special though is the terrace. I stood there for a bit after walking through and just watched the light on the water and a few folks strolling the promenade. It is wide enough for a table and a couple of sun chairs but not hard to keep tidy. I could see myself having a slow morning coffee here or maybe a quiet evening just looking at the sea. You get that constant breeze which makes it feel cooler even on warmer days.
Heading upstairs, things get really comfortable. There are three more bedrooms. Every one is en-suite so everyone has their own space and, honestly, their own little retreat. There is a maid's room tucked up here as well, which is handy for families. One of the bedrooms has its own balcony that looks down at the marina and sometimes if you look out early you will see the first yachts heading out for the day. The master suite though, that is the one you will probably never want to leave. It is set so you wake up each morning looking right over the Arabian Gulf and Palm Jumeirah. The light just pours in every morning and you get that endless view which honestly makes you forget the city behind you. Sometimes you almost want to leave the curtains open so the sunrise is the first thing you see.
People talk a lot about amenities in Dubai but Beach Isle really does it right without overdoing it. There is a big pool deck where families actually hang out, not just for show. The fitness area has all the gear you need but never feels crowded. Gardens are dotted all over the place so you find spots to read or talk without feeling you are on display. If you have little ones the kids play areas and splash pads keep them busy, and honestly I have seen a few kids riding their bikes along the promenade in the evenings when the weather is good. Shops are on the ground floor so grabbing a coffee or snack is never a hassle. Plus, you get direct access to a stretch of soft private beach that sometimes feels like it stretches forever. You are also close to the marina and a new mall coming up soon so weekends never get boring.
Emaar Beachfront is one of those places that really brings together the best side of Dubai Harbour. From here you are just a quick drive from the rest of Dubai but it always feels set apart, almost like living in a quiet resort but with the city in reach whenever you want it. Neighbours wave to each other. The coffee shop remembers your order. It is just easy.
The only way you will really know if it feels like home is to come and see it for yourself. If you want to ask a question, or just take a walk through to get a feel, I am always here. At LuxuryProperty.com we just try to help you find the place that feels right for you. Easy as that.
