3 Bedroom Townhouse in Sanctnary, Damac Hills 2

Some places just put you at ease right when you walk in and I have to say this three bedroom townhouse in the Sanctuary cluster of Damac Hills 2 might be one of those. I remember opening the door and feeling the light pour in through those big windows. The whole downstairs just felt open and sort of calm which is not something you always find. You kind of want to kick your shoes off and just sit in the living area for a while especially on a Saturday morning when everything in the community is quiet except the odd bird or someone jogging by.

The first thing I noticed as you step inside is that it does not have that staged look some new places have. Even without furniture yet it is easy to see how your own sofa or dining table fits right in and actually the kitchen is bigger than people expect. I stood by the window while I was there and you get a real sense of space outside too not just between the townhouses but open green views in places which is rare this far into the city.

So this is a three bedroom townhouse and what I like is all the bedrooms sit upstairs. They each feel private with big windows and honestly you get sun just pouring in the mornings. That makes such a difference if you have early school runs or you just like waking up with bright daylight instead of that dark apartment feeling you get elsewhere. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is one of those things you do not really appreciate until you have guests or teenagers. It just makes mornings smoother. There are also closets fitted in so you do not have to worry too much about storage.

Something else I always look out for is if the kitchen feels like somewhere you would actually cook for real. Here it absolutely does. There is a lovely stretch of countertop space next to the window and all the connections and appliances fit easily. You are not struggling for room or bumping into anyone if you have a couple friends helping chop veg or if it is a busy weeknight and everyone is hungry at once. Plus it is right next to the dining area so you can keep things casual and chat while you cook.

Downstairs the living and dining areas open out towards the garden through glass doors. Stepping outside you feel the plot is just big enough for real use. You could easily imagine having coffee out here in the mornings or putting up some fairy lights for a barbecue in the cooler months. The Sanctuary neighborhood has that quieter residential vibe but you are never far from things happening. I have seen kids cycling around the block in the evening or residents heading to the park with dogs. There are parks scattered around plus walking paths you will probably want to explore if you are into jogging or evening strolls.

Damac Hills 2 is honestly one of those Dubai communities where things feel fresh and green even in the summer. The Sanctuary subcommunity got its name for a reason. It is laid back with well kept streets and enough greenery that you really do get that blend of city living but with a softer pace. And the amenities are not just a brochure thing. There is that open air cinema I mentioned tucked in amongst the landscaping. People really use it too especially weekends. The gym is proper with everything you need so you do not have to go far to work out. Plus there are retail spots and coffee shops within a short walk.

That is pretty much how it feels to be here. Fresh air inside and outside and space to put down roots. Sometimes I hear residents say you just forget to look at your phone when you are sitting outside at night because it is that peaceful.
