Some homes just make you want to stay for a while. This three bedroom villa tucked away in Maple at Dubai Hills Estate has that easy kind of feeling as soon as you get through the door. Maybe it is the way the light comes in from all sides or how quiet it gets once you step off the main street and into the actual community. I found myself slowing down here more than once just because it made sense to enjoy it for a bit.

The open plan living space almost invites you to put your feet up or start thinking about what you might cook for dinner. The kitchen does not feel like a showpiece you just look at. Honestly it feels like somewhere you would actually make breakfast while everyone else wakes up a little slowly around you. With the big windows that stretch along one side the whole area always seems bright even on a cloudier day which is rare in Dubai but does happen sometimes. A lot of times you will catch a glimpse of the garden from inside and it sort of does make you want to get out there and just sit with a coffee.

Speaking of the garden it is fully landscaped and the grass feels real under your feet. That space out there works whether you have kids who want to play or if you just enjoy being outside on a breezy evening. I have seen families out with picnic blankets and sometimes you get neighbors greeting each other over the fence or you just catch sight of someone walking their dog. It feels like the pace slows down just a little bit the further you get into Maple.

Upstairs you have three comfortable bedrooms. All are proper rooms where someone would actually like to wake up in the morning. The main one has a good sense of privacy which is nice, and plenty of storage for the usual mess of life. The bathrooms are as you would expect in Dubai Hills, modern and kept in really good condition, but nothing feels too fussy. There is just enough space everywhere without feeling like you are in some kind of oversized mansion. At around two thousand two hundred square feet built up you get room to breathe without having to worry about endless cleaning or maintenance. The whole plot still gives you enough to have a bit of a garden, maybe a swing or a spot for some herbs if you are into that sort of thing.

What you will probably notice right away about Maple at Dubai Hills Estate is how green it feels. There are corridors here that are kind of made for walking or cycling, and you see people jogging in the early morning before work. Kids are out biking most evenings and sometimes you spot a little group playing basketball or trying to find a quiet place for table tennis. It really is pet friendly here. You see dogs out nearly every morning and the big parks always have someone out with their puppy teaching a trick or two. There are genuine community spaces too, barbeque areas where people gather on the weekends and shaded spots that you actually want to sit in for a while.

Dubai Hills Estate as a whole is set up so you can get to just about anywhere when you need to. The shopping mall is only a short drive away. Sometimes you can just walk over if it is not too hot. There is even a drive in cinema close by and honestly I did not expect to find one in Dubai but it is a fun little surprise. And if you want to get out for dinner or meet friends for lunch, the cafes around here are never hard to find. When people talk about a lifestyle community this is really what they mean. Everything is on hand but it never feels crowded.
