Sometimes you walk into a place and it just surprises you. This one bedroom apartment at Avani Palm View Hotel and Suites in Dubai Media City completely did that for me. I remember stepping inside and letting the view through those tall windows pull me in for a bit. It is rare to feel so far from busy city stuff but look out and see the sea right there. Just washing up against the sand and the world rolling by. It gets all this light in the afternoon and you might notice you just stand around by the window taking it in. If you have ever ended up watching sunsets when you did not plan to, you will understand what I mean. You get a balcony too so you are not just staring at the view you are experiencing it like a little corner of the sky is just for you.
Inside it just feels welcoming. The living and dining area is bigger than most places like this. I thought about having friends over and not tripping over the coffee table for once. The kitchen is open and actually feels like somewhere you could try out a recipe or just pour cereal and read the news at the counter. Not everyone cooks every day but there is something about having the space to do it if you want. There is a calm to it. The bedroom is really nice especially if you need privacy or you just want to read late and not bother anyone. You get built in storage that is actually useful. You know how some places give you cupboards that never quite fit what you own. Here it makes sense. There is also a private sitting area in the bedroom so it feels sort of like a suite without having to pay for one. You can keep it simple or make it your own retreat. It is up to you honestly.
And the best thing is all the rooms have those full tall windows so the light is kind of always with you. Even the days when the sea gets a little moody you still get that pale shimmer coming in. It is furnished as well so moving in is just easy. No running around figuring out sofas or calling delivery vans. It is ready for you.
Living in Avani Palm View means you do not have to give up anything fun about Dubai. You get a pretty great pool downstairs where you will see folks actually swimming in the mornings not just taking photos. The AvaniFit gym is open if you are the type who likes to squeeze in a workout before work or sometimes just after dinner. Two signature restaurants there are handy too if you do not feel like cooking. You will also notice how connected the spot is. You can be on Palm Jumeirah or at Dubai Marina pretty fast and there are always cabs out front if you want to head into the city. Shopping and beaches are genuinely close and you hear people coming in just for the cafés nearby. It is a space for people who want to live Dubai but also just breathe out sometimes.
This apartment is set up for short term rent so it makes sense if you want to try out the area or you have work in Dubai for a season and do not feel like booking yet another hotel. It actually feels more like a home than a rental if you are asking me. You see families here and people walking out in the evenings just to catch the breeze. Now and then you see a group laughing on the balcony across the way or someone with a coffee just leaning on the railing for a second.
If you are curious you really have to see how it feels in person. The only way to know if a place is right for you is to walk through and get a sense of it at your own pace. If you want to ask anything or just have a look let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we are always happy to help you find somewhere that feels a little like yours right from the start.
