Some places are made for stopping and just catching your breath for a second. This studio apartment in Viridis Residence at Akoya Oxygen really surprised me. When I first opened the door, I actually forgot my phone in my pocket for a while and just looked around. You get this calm feeling—the kind that comes from being somewhere a bit greener and quieter than the rest of Dubai—but still having a proper city life just minutes away.
So, this is a serviced studio apartment and you feel the hotel touch the moment you walk in. Everything is fresh and modern but nothing feels fussy or strange. To be honest, the size is what I like first. Four hundred twenty six square feet gives you more space than you think. The big window lets in a lot of daylight and sometimes you look out and just see that rich green all around Akoya. You do not find that much green in most parts of Dubai. Akoya Oxygen is probably the most garden filled place I have seen here. The thing about living here is you can actually open your curtains in the morning and spot the birds or maybe a family strolling below.
Now, Viridis Residence itself feels lively, but never overcrowded. The lounge area in the lobby is a little hub of quiet mostly except when neighbors stop and chat, which happens more than you might guess. Since this is one of those serviced buildings, you skip most of the chores and worries. There is always someone handling the little stuff. You smell the fresh coffee from the café downstairs and sometimes hear a bit of clinking from the restaurant. The hotel team keeps everything neat, and for people who do not want the hassle of starting from scratch, it just feels easy.
Residents here get to use a gym that is so well kept, you do not even spot a stray towel. Honestly, it is nice because you do not have to drag yourself outside for a workout if you do not want to. The swimming pool area stays peaceful and sometimes in the afternoon I have seen people just take a corner and read a book. If you are in the mood for shopping or just want to eat out, you do not even have to leave the community. The Vista Lux district next door is the sort of place you wander in the evening. There are shops, lots of restaurants, the hydroponic café where you can pick your own herbs which feels surprisingly fun, and even a rainforest space for that little escape vibe. It is a huge complex so there is always something happening but you can always go back to your quiet studio when you need calm.
People who love golf are really going to enjoy it here because the Trump World Golf Club is right at the center of Akoya Oxygen. The fairways looked amazing last time I was walking by. Even if you are not somebody who plays, the clubhouse is a nice place to have a coffee or just people watch for a bit. If you ever feel like you need more nature, the community is built with something like half dedicated just to open spaces, gardens, and water. It just makes for better walks. I have seen people jogging and kids biking in the early evening and it feels calm here compared to city center places.
If you are thinking of investment, this is the sort of property that just works straight away. With handover already done, you are not waiting for ages to move in or rent out. Plus, having it serviced by Naia Hotels means it keeps that cared for feeling for a long time. You can see why people expect a good return from this place. And the best thing is, you do not need to do anything. Everything you need is just here.
Whether you are starting out or just want somewhere to slow down at the end of the day, this studio in Viridis Residence Akoya Oxygen might surprise you. The only real way to know if it fits your life is to come see it. If you have a question or just want to wander through with someone who knows the area, just reach out.
