I remember hanging back by the window for a while just looking at the city spread out below. The views genuinely get you I think it is because you are right in the heart of Downtown Dubai but a little above it all kind of peaceful up here.

This four bedroom penthouse in the Sky Collection is honestly one of those rare places. When people ask what makes Vida Residences different I always tell them it has a more relaxed and real feel than a lot of newer towers. Even the way people greet each other in the lobby has a friendly ease to it. Up here you really do get a sense of privacy though because there are not many of these Sky Collection penthouses and each one is its own little world. The layout works really well too especially if you need space for a family or even just visitors who like to stay a while. What struck me about this penthouse is how the open plan living and dining just fits together. Sometimes places are open but still feel awkward not here. You might even forget you are in one of the busiest parts of Dubai.

Location wise you could not really ask for more. You are linked straight to the Vida Hotel so if you want a quiet coffee or maybe some breakfast with friends it is almost too easy. Dubai Mall is actually just around the corner and honestly once you are living here you will find yourself stopping by all sorts of local shops or even catching a show at Dubai Opera now and then. Plus transport is a breeze with everything nearby so even those quick last minute dashes out are simple. Honestly you might end up walking more just because it is all right there.

Residents at Vida get the good kind of amenities without it feeling over the top. The pool and gym are just downstairs so you do not have to drive anywhere for a quick workout or swim. There is even a little BBQ area if you feel like doing something casual on a Friday with friends. Sometimes you see families heading out to the boulevard or even cycling in the cooler evenings which just makes the place feel lived in rather than just shiny and new. The business centre is handy too if you need a quiet place for a work call or just to focus for a bit.

As for finishing touches this penthouse is completely unfurnished which I personally think is a plus. You get to make it your own from day one and do not have to work around anyone else's style or taste. And with the layout being this logical you kind of want to just move your things in and settle quickly.
